  Forgot to add that there is a little library that my daughter found a great 1st/2nd grade prep book. My only "complaint" would be the swings are off in the sun too hot!

  Love it! The fenced in play area contains two play units. One is for climbing, my big kid nephew loved it! Next is a paved trail with a stream. It was nice and well kept!

  The artificial walking surface in the playground cuts down on dirt and scrapes. There is a clever walking and learning path, complete with a well stocked 'little library.'

  Ashley Dearing is great, especially for younger kids. The surface is recycled rubber mulch, so your babies & toddler won't be eating bark, and if they fall, it doesn't hurt as much. I have two kids (3 & 5) and think it's the perfect size for them. They're not too scared to play on anything (like at Nettles) and there's no "big kids" knocking them down. It's also shaded, there's a place to eat, it's now fenced in, and has restrooms.

  This park is a great place to bring families and walk on the born learning trail. Baseball fields at the park are popular with youth sports.
