The service is great, the food is wonderful, and the atmosphere is nice. They've also recently added poke to their menu and added pictures of EVERY dish. There are even a few of the staff members that are actually Japanese so the authenticity is preserved a bit. It's a great place to have a date or bring a friend. And if you're a Japanese learner the staff will even speak to you in onlyJapanese upon request. I love this place! The one off of Ponce De Leon is even more authentic and the layout is a bit more like a Japanese restaurant.

My go-to restaurant when I'm in Decatur! Tasty sushi at good prices! Today I had the salmon poke don. It was very very savory and very filling. It came with salad and miso soup.

I've had the displeasure of eating here three times now at my coworker's insistence. This third time I felt the moral obligation to speak out against the high rating.
Mind you, the service here is excellent. The food is so terrible in quality that it warrants one star in my book.
I eat fish raw. With that comes a certain trust that the fish is fresh, clean and kept at a safe temperature. My experience has left me feeling disgusted sand questioning if the fish is safe. I really tried to give this place another chance.
I love the texture of fish. Salmon is usually light and buttery. Each time here it's been strangely dry and slightly bitter. Much of the fish tastes off in this way. They also serve an incredibly putrid fish with the sashimi deluxe and others that is white, slimy and stiff at the bottom. Hardly edible at all. Slimy seems too tame of a description.
This last trip, the rice also had a slight bitterness to it. I typically add vinegar to rice for preserving freshness. It tasted like a vinegar gone spoiled. I was beyond disappointed.
I'd recommend heading to any of the many other sushi or poke options in Decatur if you eat fish raw. If you like it cooked, maybe the tastes aren't so noticeable but maybe you'd worry about other things.

Love this spot, the outdoor seating is really nice. It is right by the side walk for one of the main strips in Decatur with people walling around and nice views. The food is also great, I love sushi menu, basically each roll has a diagram which shows each ingredient in the roll. There are lots of choices and other foods than sushi on the menu as well.

I've been here once before years ago for a friend's Bday but today they missed the mark. There are way to many great sushi places in Atlanta to get good quality sushi. I feel like I paid more because of the location. I like nigiri more than rolls so the menu was very limited. Our waiter was very rude and we had to ask for chopsticks 3 times before we got them. I'll stick to my usual spot Ru San in Little 5

The house salad dressing is good. They were very kid friendly & kind. We got a steak dish & it was good. The sushi was fine. Not amazing quality, but still well made rolls. I loved that some of the rolls had locally inspired names. Fun touch!

Great food. Been going there to eat sushi since my high school days (class of '11). Every time I go it feel like I'm coming home. 😁 With friendly staff to help you there no reason not stay.
