I got a no chip manicure at the Woodfield location that did not last a day. The location was really nice, but my manicure was pretty sloppy and started chipping later that day. It started completely coming off after 3 days. I might go back for other salon services, but definitely wouldn't go here for another manicure as I'm seeing some other comments with a similar experience.

I had a haircut with Margaret and she was fantastic. I had the best scalp massage I have ever had. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. The style last me three days. I highly recommend this location. The staff is friendly and Margaret was amazing.

I have gone to ASHA for over 10 years. I have had to change hair girls a few times but have loved every one of them. The treatment is professional And I always enjoy the visit no matter what service I am enjoying at the moment.
I highly recommend Ilona as a stylist and colorist she has experience and will always leave you looking beautiful!!
Highly recommend this salon you will not be disappointed!

I have been here a total of three times and while I would have LOVED to LOVE this salon I can say honestly after three visits I am not a true fan so I generously give this salon three stars for the following reasons. I first came here for a coloring appointment with a stylist here I thought was very caring. I had gotten talked into dying my naturally salt and pepper a dark shade of black at a different salon namely Floyd's barbershop and I was truly unhappy. One chunk of my bangs had been dyed red so I asked my colorist here at asha if she could use a gentle color remover to change the red chunk back to silver but she explained they do not have color removers here rather they use a gentle bleach they call ENLIGHTENER. I was happy that she was able to change the dark red to a pastel pink but not happy that they do not have any fun colors here. Aveda salons use "natural" occurring shades and they do not have traditional cotton candy pinks, blues or purples but they have "toners" that they can apply to freshly bleached hair so my colorist spent a lot of time with me and managed NOT to damage my hair at all. I was relieved that at least the color was nicer but then I had to dry and style my own wet hair at the styling station which is in a tiny, cramped corner behind the salon and is the "poor man's" substitute for a real blow dry finish as it's a do it yourself station meant for clients who do not wish to pay an extra fee after your cut or fresh color. I left pretty happy and ended up going back to Asha again two months later because my normal colorist in Chicago got too experimental and dyed my salt and pepper hair denim blue! I tried a new colorist here who was available at the time I needed but she lacked skills and confidence on how to remove toner so I decided to just trust her enough to shampoo my hair repeatedly with a clarifying shampoo since she seemed puzzled as to how she was going to remove too much toner from my hair. Honestly I do not understand why this location does not know how to use a mild form of bleach cap but at least I left with my hair a tad bit lighter and feeling healthy. I was not charged that much for this service so I was grateful. The third time I came here I worked with a stylist by the name of CeCe. She listened to me when I requested to have her cut some length off the back of my head because I had more of a "shag" going on and I wanted a bob to my ears where the back would be slightly shorter than my front. She chopped my hair with confidence and I think it took her less than fifteen minutes for the cut. The only complaint I do have is I did not tell her to "thin out" my thick hair I simply told her I wanted it shorter in the back and longer in the front. I had cut my own mini bangs and my front was in good shape but my back length did not match with my cut. I liked the fact that she brought back some of my natural curl but she used a technique called "point cutting" which I am not a huge fan of because it tends to over layer your hair and expose your cuticle. Since my hair is naturally dry, curly and quite frizzy I now have to make sure to saturate these pointy layers with oils or my hair is too dry! As her cut grew out I realized she cut too high and made some of my layers too jagged so I corrected it a bit and I honestly do not feel I could trust her to listen to me if I wanted her to trim it again. As I left that day and after leaving a generous tip after being charged $40 I heard the girls at the front desk snickering at me as I went downstairs. I am assuming they found me "amusing". Anyway I think that in order to get a good precision cut with curly hair you should cut curly hair when it is blown dry. Here at Asha that service is an extra fee so she cut my hair wet and my hair curls a good inch when it curls properly. Because she insisted on cutting the layers wet my hair was a bit stringy for 6 weeks and one side was slightly longer than the other.

Went there for 60 min massage. Maggie who did my massage was great. (I used to go to Asha spa and salon a lot.). I am not sure if the management is changed or they just don't care anymore but I was dissatisfied with this appointment. First of all, I got a robe that was dirty ( it had spry tan stains, perfume), the slippers were too small (so I had to find clean robe and slippers that fits me, I think ppl that rooms should ask what size they wear), then there were some type of bugs flying around the dried fruit bowl in the waiting area, the room where I got massage was freezing (I start getting runny nose while getting massage), then the music was playing on and off and sometimes no music at all.
I tried to tell the girls downstairs that checks you out but after she charged my card she was doing something else and didn't care about my complain. Usually they ask you how was your service but not this time.
I guess won't come back, there are plenty of other places where they do care about customer service.

What an amazing place! My partner took me here for my birthday on August 7th. It was my first spa/massage experience ever and it was amazing! The customer service was great from the moment we walked in. But most importantly I came here to write a review (which I rarely do) because I felt I have to acknowledge the incredible professional, kind, and helpful massage therapist ZORI who gave me my reflexology massage. Zori made me feel super comfortable with the massage. I was so nervous because it was my first time and wasn't sure what to expect. I love that she asked me "is this your first time here" and then walked me through the whole massage beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect. Once on the massage table, IT WAS HEAVEN! I also loved that she asked "would you like more or less pressure" and she reassured me by saying things like "please feel free to let me know, I want you to enjoy the massage". It made me comfortable enough to actually relax and enjoy the experience. I felt so relieved! It was so good I FELL ASLEEP lol! But really, she was just super sweet and it was perfect after having a stressful morning (I was in a minor car accident). She also kept reapplying a fresh warm neck thing which really helped the tension I had from the minor accident earlier that day. Thank you Zori and Asha Salon Spa for a terrific experience. It was a great 25th birthday gift from my partner! -Taylor :)

There's fabulous stylists here and some not as fabulous so it totally depends who you get. But I've always had nice haircuts and love the added touch of the hand massage. The environment is fantastic. Just be prepared to pay a price for being pampered but that's to be expected for a salon in this area.

I waited to do my hair for long time and i got a terrible experience.i showed the picture of what i wanted and it turn out almost the same, no difference. They offered to fix it for free the next day(which was nice of them)so i went and it got even worse..my hair is yellow and looks soo unprofessional( like I did it myself from the box from walmart)instead of the white i wanted.very dissapointed. Definitely not going there againLooking for help to fix my hair so I can come out of the house.

This is an edited review. I have always been a fan of Asha but only come here when I have the money to splurge on a beautiful cut and color. I was disappointed with my cut last time and with the help of Gina and Gwen, I love my cut and color. Their attentiveness and customer service is amazing. I was able to get my cut fixed within a week and I am beyond happy with it. Thank you for listening! And thank you for my beautiful hair.

We love Asha! We live out of state and have purchased several gift cards for family members that live near Asha. They have all said they would rather have a gift card for their spa services than anything else! Wonderful experience for them from the minute they walked through the door until their services were complete. I highly recommend.
