I attended he Happiness Retreat over Easter Weekend, 2017, and had an amazing experience. I did not experience the spa, and our pottery class was cancelled for the day, but we were still able to do a nature walk and just enjoy the amazing views.

There weren't many people around for this retreat, which was nice, because we had AoL mostly to ourselves for the entire weekend, without seeing much activity until Sunday.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I am looking forward to going back, as this was a life changing experience.

I love to rest, take meditation or "know yourself" courses, take a massage, hike, sleep and eat at this amazing place on hearth!! My favorite place for a deep rest, recharge and basically have holidays!! Also I know that all money is going gut an amazing cause with an amazing variety of social and environment transformation!! I truly recommend!!

Wonderful experience. Yoga and meditation classes were great - I feel so good. The food was absolutely outstanding! That was really important to me. I liked having some new experiences like the singing after dinner and walking in a Labyrinth. I did the spa retreat - even with the yoga and meditation I had more down time than I would have liked. Going with a friend would have been better than going alone - or doing one of their weekend retreats that are planned would fill the time well. I did two spa treatments I'd never heard of before which was super. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. When I went, during the week first week of June - not many people - which was good in some ways. It was well worth it. Oh, and the hotel was wonderful in every way - clean, large enough, comfortable bed. At this time of year - windows open - chilly at night so no need for air conditioning (which they don't have anyway). I would recommend this retreat center 100%. Again, I loved the meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ate so much!

I cannot begin to describe the energy this place has. I took a four day course - Happiness and Silent Retreat with James Larson. The Teacher, Jim, was a wealth of knowledge. I came here with so much negative energy and by the time the course was done, I felt lighter at heart and in mind. I have a new look at life, a new understanding and definitely a new understanding. DO NOT PASS AN OPPORTUNITY TO COME UP HERE AND FIND YOUR TRUE SELF AND HAPPINESS! I recommend this to anyone and everyone looking to find their inner peace.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this place and its staff are, but I'll do my best. I stayed here for a week during June of 2016. The location is incredible with a panoramic view of the mountains that makes you feel as though you could reach out and touch the next peak - the sunrise is amazing! The staff are incredibly attentive, accommodating, and kind, and it was clear to me that they all were ever conscious of creating a space that welcomed and allowed all their visitors to rest. It felt a bit like coming home after a long trip. And the food!!!! Now, I am not a vegetarian, but after eating the food I was so impressed that on my return home my family and I are moving in that direction rapidly. The trick is learning how to cook it, but we're working on it. I would recommend the Art of Living Retreat Center to anyone and everyone who is looking for a place to rest, rejuvenate, center, and reconnect with nature. I plan to bring my family there again soon so they can experience this amazing community. Keep up the good work!
