great place to stop with kids, lots of educational stuff there. Hold a snake, see a live bee hive, island art and history.
The Art and Nature center is an old school house that is now used to display local art and native animals. It is a fun place for adults and children. You can learn about Washington Island natural history and hold snakes and see many other creatures.
The center is open from mid June to mid September. There are many art and nature classes and hikes. If you come to Washington Island, don't miss the Art and Nature center.
