Hyundai of West Allis - how's it feel to lose a car sale because your manager and sales staff are so self absorbed? Save your time and $ and go to Boucher. Lied to try and get our sale - other dealers are "Black listed" because they give too many discounts? Hahah!
Customer service was horrible. First approached my boyfriend and I friendly then once he went to get us keys to test drive it, he completely changed character and attitude judging us by our ages and what area of town we live at. Completely degrading and assumed we would not be able to get the car due to lack of payment due to our age. Would never recommend this dealer! Horrible service and would have been crazy to give him the sale. His mood changed completely when we told him how much we had for a down payment.
I worked with 3 of the most amazing people ever!! This was by far the BEST buying experience. Pam was the first person I met, and we clicked right away. Told her what I had to have and within minutes, she had the exact car that fits what I have to have. Then I talked with Dan and finally Alex. It was quick, easy and I could not be happier. If you are looking for a great car buying experience you need to see these 3! They are the BEST!!! Thank you again for making this easy, and at my age, easy is best. Oh, I put gas in for the first time since purchasing!
If I could give Hyundai West Allis a zero I would. We were loyal customers and have purchased three vehicles from this dealership - two when it was Arrow and one since International Auto purchased them. Our experiences with Arrow were all good. Since International Auto purchased the dealership the business has gone completely downhill. They have cut service department hours and our most recent vehicle purchase experience was terrible. On the day we picked up the car, we had to leave and come back to complete the sale because they were so busy. When we were ready to leave, the spare key could not be found. We were told to expect a call "first thing Monday morning" but no one called. We finally called at the end of the day and it took until Thursday to locate another key. Although we paid cash for this car, we were required to complete a credit application so they could accept the check. Now, a month after the purchase we received a form letter informing us that we would not be extended credit. This, despite a credit score of over 800 on the credit report run by International Auto on the day of the sale. We will never do business with them. Not even recall work. It appears they are intentionally trying to run this business into the ground.
I've been trying for over a month to get in touch with a service manager or a manager in general regarding a vehicle we lease through Hyundai. Our lease began when this was still Juneau Arrow Hyundai and will be up at the end of this year. Long story short, I'm having the same problem with my vehicle that I've had 2 other times previously and nobody has gotten back to me until just a moment ago.
I will update my review if this experience warrants more stars.
UPDATE 10/12/17: Dropped my car off last night. Got a loaner car. Pulled into work this morning at 6:45gas light comes on in the loaner. I've had this loaner for 13 hours. Now I have to put gas in it. Is Hyundai going to be putting gas in MY car for driving it to West Allis and for them taking it for a drive to test it? I doubt it.
Tried to make an appointment to get recall work done. Called 2 times and left my name and number to call back but no one called me back. Called 3rd time and receptionist asked if I wanted to leave my name and I said only if someone will actually call me back - she hung up on me. I am going to go elsewhere for service on my care.
So my experience started off great. Quick response. Test drive without a sales person in the car, and even dropped the price by 200$. After that it went downhill. I told them i was going to go thru another bank besides there's because i in knew i would get a much better rate( which i did). They were on board and i put 100$ down as a show of good faith.Their dealership only accepts perso personal checks so my bank was having trouble getting them the money. After about 5 days of consistant back and forth they call and tell me to come that day and use their bank or they would sell to another person. Messed up after my 100 down and cronically calling them tp stay in the loop. Long story short i got the car. 6 weeks later they still didn't get the registration taken care of with the dmv. People going there for a vehicle please be careful as they can beyea.
This place is a nightmare. Lost paperwork, very dishonest. They don't return calls. Stay away! I recommend Boucher!
Without a doubt, these guys are some of the most dishonest, despicable liars I have ever come across in my 50 years on this earth.. and that's just the service department. Their "new" "Hyundai policy" is to charge $129 inspection fee (non applicable to work done), even when our Santa Fe Limited is clearly under warranty. We had issues with the car over the past year that the service dept "couldn't reproduce" - despite the car odometer not registering being even moved. The service dept "Managers" are rude, dismissive and obnoxious (dare I say it) assholes. We took our car to Sheboygan Van-Horn and was not charged a penny for inspection, and Van Horn instantly found several issues that we were told by Juneau/West Allis didn't exist/couldn't reproduce. West Allis Hyundai are nothing but lying near-criminal shysters - from the service managers thru the mechanics. Absolutely deplorable. I shudder to think what the sales dept are like. I called Hyundai to complain but to my astonishment they couldn't care less. This is the second Hyundai Santa Fe that we have owned and it is DEFINITELY our last -
Started out with a good experience, I found a great lease deal but it just went down hill from there. They had to recontact me because they needed signatures that they had missed and parts they had messed up on the lease. Almost a month into the lease, two days before my payment is due and I still don't have the payment information, and every time I try to contact someone I get a voicemail and no response. I called the salesman that helped me, the finance manager and the general manager at least 5 times each, left messages and still haven't gotten a response back. That doesn't even include the emails I have sent without receiving a response. Poor communication stills and organization to say the least.
Anthony and his team were very helpful, they lowered the price to where I felt more comfortable buying from them. They installed a new GPS system, gave a free car wash and filled my gas all for free. I still can't believe I own my very own Hyundai Veloster!
Great place, great staff, especially Anthony
My husband and I both went to two different locations (this one included) for the $50 visa gift card just for test driving. Never recieved either of the gift cards nor an email. That says a lot about their dealership and how they run things. A big waste of our time
Excellent service. Special recognition to Joshua, he answer all my question and provide best recommendations
Bought my vehicle almost 6 years ago and can honestly say EVERYONE in the service department has been beyond great! Always helpful to my car needs, efficient, communicate well with me, and most importantly customer service focused. My wife and I recent purchased a vehicle elsewhere - her sister works at GM so family discount was applied - and it was a mistake. Nothing compares to the long term relationship and trust you get with the place you buy a car from! Happy to have chose Arrow and they'll see my business again!
