Great view of a hobo encampment where you can witness shady transactions. Good to check your car every now and then because some of the transients do as well. Security people seem nice. Visible.. Stains on chairs in the room. Bed makes you want to go elsewhere and boil yourself.
We mainly went for a lunch buffet. Although we arrived close to closing time (they shut down about an hour between lunch and dinner to change out the menu, and to clean up), the staff was very accommodating.
The fare was good, but nothing special. I will probably not go again because of the many similarly priced buffets in Las Vegas that provide better options, but all in all I don't have anything negative to say about the place.
Arizona Charlie's is great local casino to visit. It has lots of slots, table games and a nice sports book. The food in all the restaurants including the buffet is really good. The bingo hall is nice sized and the staff in there are really friendly. I always feel comfortable.
The steakhouse is marvelous Ann Marie was the best server. Took the time to talk with my daughter and get her order. Was patient with my daughter and I. And johnna is the best Casino Host ever. She too was attentive to both of us. And both ladies were so nice and pleasant. We weren't rushed, having a nice casual conversation. Made me feel comfortable and at ease.
Out on Boulder Hwy between Boulder Station and Sam's Town. Quiet locals casino geared for the older crowed. Good buffet full of old favorites. Staff is extra friendly and the cocktail girl is always around. This is my hangout, try it you'll like it!
The location is very convenient and the rooms are really clean. If I could have stayed longer I would've because everything was just amazing. 5 stars
It looked nice on the inside and out. The workers there had a nice personality and weren't mean to me in any way. I loved the things they had there and it was just entertaining to be in the hotel room.
The kinda place you would go to when you don't want anyone to see you.. Gets a little bit seedy towards the late hours.. Good gaming though.. I've been quite lucky there... They do have parking garage .Hanicap accessible.. Good reward program..
Life at home is pretty much hell so this place was a cheap getaway to rest my head. Room was nice and cozy, but the bathroom tub faucet was leaking. I don't usually mind those things but the front desk person who helped me check in was very kind and helpful; her name was Cotrelle. Thanks gal!
After a 6 hour drive I was really looking forward to checking in and getting to bed. I didn't get in until 3:30am and the check-in desk was closed until 4am. Once we finally were able to check in and go to the room we thought we were about to get some keep for sure. We got into the room and the AC barely blew air. The underside of the pillows on the bed were covered in hair, and had obviously not been changed or washed. Side note - there aren't any microwaves or fridges in any rooms. Our TV didn't even work. We called the front desk and they sent a security guard to bring us room keys to a different room. He lead us around the wrong way around the hotel, so we had to double back around the whole thing carrying all of our luggage. The bed in the new room was just as repulsive, but at least the TV worked. By this time it is past 6am, and I was really wishing I'd chosen a better hotel. We finally get to go to sleep and then a maid bangs on the door at 9am. The front desk hasn't informed her of the room change. I called the front desk five times to request a late checkout and was not answered. I left a message like the hotels IVR system told me to and nobody called me back ever. After getting her to go away we tried to get some more sleep, before leaving to drive another seven hours home. That plan was ruined when two hours later at 11am another woman came and banged on the door to ask if we were checking out or staying another day. After telling her just how terrible our experience was she agreed to let us stay an extra couple hours. At that point neither me or my travel companion could go back to sleep. I would recommend never stopping at this place. It might ruin your whole trip. It was a terrible ending to a great week.
Had a wonderful time in my spacious clean room. Good buffet. Hot tub time and courtesy was excellent. Thank you Arizona Charlie's Boulder for a wonderful time.
Great rates. They were able to fit us in last moment when Flamingo had a 4 hour check-in line and the room is AMAZING! Nice staff. Sourdough lounge inside the casino is a nice place to eat. :)
Always win here! Two levels of gambling and great cocktails served continuously while you enjoy your hand at luck! Affordable room rates which are mostly like small studio apartments. Plenty of parking and security personal are always on alert. Your chances at winning here are better than any. Great deli.
We ate at the Arizona Charlie's buffet. Had a 2 for 1 coupon. So the two of us had dinner for $12.98 plus tip. Excellent value for the money. Nice salad bar plus they offer made to order burgers with fries and other made to order sandwiches. All included in the price. It was BBQ night and the carving station included brisket that was really good and pork ribs that were surprisingly meaty. Really good value for the $.
Had lunch at the Sourdough Cafe at this location and I must really say that I was impressed with everything about the place. The food was excellent, delicious, fresh and hot. The customer service was the best and the atmosphere was perfect. The location on Decatur is the worst!!! We are there a few weeks ago and we did not enjoy it one bit. The food was cold and nasty. Customer service.... what customer service? Our waitress took 30 minutes to get to us, took our order, served us 30 minutes later, then said that she was going on break and said who our new waitress was. After that, we literally had no customer service! I tried to complain to the manager and she gave me attitude and asked me what I was wanting her to do, made it sound like she wasn't going to take care of it. I'm not going back to that location ever again, BUT I WILL BE RETURNING TO THE BOULDER HIGHWAY LOCATION ALWAYS.
