products good you dont care about the people.
I bought an iphone 11 in this store a month ago and it was already a problem, my cell phone definitely died I contacted the store and went personally to the store, but no one helped me I depend on my cell phone to work but nobody solved my problem
Went to the Apple store today (says it’s open on Google). There was a tent out front so I assumed they were monitoring the number of people going into the store. A young man asked if he could help me and I told him that I was interested in buying an Ipad. He said, “The store is closed for browsing and shopping. You can buy it online.” I said I tried, but was unable to use my Apple gift card. He told me I was wrong and there was an option to use a gift card. I thanked him and left. Seems to me that Apple has gotten so big they don’t care whether or not they sell their products. This is not the first time that I made a trip to the Apple store when Google showed it was open and it was not. I even called and the message said they were open. So the king of technology can’t even get the hours of their store right on the Internet. They truly don’t care about their customers.
I never had a good experience at this place but still decided to give it another try and the benefit of the doubt. Drove almost an hour out of my way today to try to purchase a laptop and was told I would have to wait 3 hours just to get it. I understand new guidelines and everything but there was at Least 2 people shopping in the store, having to wait that long was ridiculous. I was told I needed to make an appointment but when I called all I got was an animated voicemail system and no section on the website was there to make an appointment just to shop. Won’t be coming back here I’ll drive to Charlotte before here
I am eighty. I was greeted immediately. Asked what I needed and told where in the store I should wait. I went there and waited 10 minutes with no place to sit. I finally went and dragged a bar stool to wall where I was waiting. At about 15 minutes I spotted a tall man in red shirt. I waved for him to help. He was a supervisor of floor staff. He tried 3 times to get someone to help and after 5 or 6 more minutes he decided to help me himself. I bought a $20 cord to attach iPhone to computer. I wanted an iPad but he said I would have to wait at least 30 minutes. He suggested if I came back in 2 weeks they would not be so busy with after Christmas business which I will do.
What's the point of making an appointment if you still have to wait for an hour?
I understand thy are busy around this time but at least be honest about your appointment times.
Set aside your whole day if you plan on going here
This place deserves more love. I showed up without an appointment expecting to sit there forever. Instead they gave me a time for the afternoon and told me I would get a text with a 15 minute window. Okay, so I went and worked nearby and came back when the text came. That’s when Bo checked on my phone. Bo was friendly, helpful, and happy to check multiple issues even if they were minor. I didn’t expect miracles or short waits; I expected nice service that solved my problem and I got that.
I have been to the Greensboro Apple Store 3 times this week for a fun total of 9 hours. After checking my phone battery and realized it was dead and swollen, they offered me a new phone for the price of the battery. Awesome! But their server was so slow transferring data that I spent three hours there and ended up having to leave it overnight. When I returned the next day, they claimed it actually didn't transfer properly and that they would have to try again (for 3 more hours). On the upside, I have a new phone. On the downside, the texting app freezes and will not work whatsoever. When I show up to the Apple Store and explain how this is my third time coming back in a week, I was told that they could not fit me in today and that I should come back another day.
While the employees are friendly, the service here is horrible. Although I'm a student working two part-time jobs, I may very well need to find time for a fourth visit if they can't help me this time..
If you have another Apple Store remotely nearby, I strongly recommend trying them first.
The staff at the genius bar are helpful, but only if you can get their attention. I sat waiting for an hour today before going up to someone asking for my place in the queue (turns out when I checked in for my appointment, it was actually canceled, so I was no longer in the system). In that hour, no staff member acknowledged that I was just sitting there (I didn't move from the bench the entire time, and I was right in front of the genius bar). The staff was nice and helpful once I asserted myself and told them flat out that I had been waiting for so long despite having an appointment. Even though they were busy (staff members weren't just standing around talking to each other), they need to start checking on their customers. Overall, very frustrating and it made my one errand a lot longer than it should have been.
This is by far the worst apple store I have ever been too. Every single experience is beyond poor. I’ve had better customer service at a damn McDonalds. None of the employees are helpful nor to they take the time to make your situation a priority. They are rude and most of them just stand around while customers wait hours and hours to get helped. I will never come back. I’ll drive out of my way to get better and faster service. Steve jobs would be disgusted with this store if he was here. The manager of this store should be fired.
The best !! I cannot say enough good things about how the folks here on the floor and at the genius bar helped me with a new-ish iPhone I had purchased at Verizon -- but was malfunctioning. The Apple Warranty enabled me to get a brand new phone, the folks at the store set it up and made sure I was set to go. Friendly, helpful, all in one day. No charge. Verizon had planned to give me a refurbished phone. Thank you, Apple and you wonderful folks working there.
I figure after spending years reading and evaluating the the reviews of others, I should start paying back.
This morning after reading a number of less than flattering reviews about this store, my wife and I went anyway. Upon arriving, almost didn't go in because it looked crowed, but what the heck, I just drove for 45 minutes.
I was looking for a new laptop and some accessories but after reading previous reviews and given the crowed size, I had little hope until James Page offered to help us. Long story short, this young man was super. Knew his products, explained things well, and did and excellent job in making my wife and I happy customers. This young man was a great example that I hope many other young people look to follow. My wife and I are glad to have gone. Thank you James.
I had a fantastic experience at the Apple store at Friendly. The employees were very polite, helpful and friendly. I did not have to wait long. I had been dealing with this issue for over a week and could not get it resolved. At the Apple Store at Friendly it took less than an hour to get done what I needed done. Thank you guys!!!!!
I would have given zero stars if I could. I went in yesterday to get my 8 year old sons iPhone 4s unlocked. The worker there was super excited at first then after he found out what I was there for, he just totally ignored me and moved on to the next customer. Several other workers there were standing around and walking around but no one wanted to help me, presumably because I wasn't buying anything. This is very disturbing because I love the products but now that I see how their service is, I'd rather go back to a flip phone than buy anything from this place. I waited with my son for well over an hour then I finally asked another person for help and they told me to come back tomorrow lol. I drove an hour to get there and I'll never go back to them.
This is by far the worst Apple Store I've ever been to. They abuse your time and you make appointments but they make you an hour anyway. They have poor customer service and if the nearesr Apple Store wasn't 30 plus miles away I'd never visit this location again.
If you want your time wasted, feel free to book an appointment at this Apple Store. They are good at making you wait an hour and a half for a 15 minute appointment.
Only reason I gave 3 stars was because it was quick and we didn't have to wait 2 hours like they originally said. We went in to get an iPhone replaced. The first guy was nice and professional however, the next guy we had seemed like he couldn't wait for us to leave. He was just tossing the phone and pieces of phones and cords around. He kept looking around as if he had better things to do and seemed to do the bare minimum.
The time before I came in we made an appointment and waited an hour to be seen and we spoke to people as we were waiting and their appointments were after ours however, they were up and gone before we were. We waited an hour before being seen.
Not the best customer service.
So, first let me say that I made an appointment for the genius bar, and ended up going in there and waiting for almost an hour and a half to be seen. Turns out "they looked for me but couldn't find me" except no one ever called my name and I was sitting right in front of the bar. But, the reason I'm giving five stars is because Mo, who ended up helping me, was so kind, helpful, and friendly. He completely saved and redeemed this horrible customer service that I was experiencing, which was very uncharacteristic of Apple, in my opinion. He fixed my "vintage" MacBook Pro, and didn't charge me. If you have any laptop problems, ask for him!
