We mad a genius bar appointment for my kids iPod touches. We had Wilson help us. My 5 year old son asked him 1000 questions. Wilson was patient as can be, really friendly to my son driving him crazy. And he also got our problems fixed. Apple is lucky to have someone like him.
Went in because my son's phone stopped working 1 month after Apple care expired. Apple tech ran a diagnistic and lost his photos and contacts, etc. They also told him the phone would no longer work and suggested that he buy a new phone. We left. My husband took it to a phone repair store in Ridgefield and they fixed the charge port for $50. Please make sure to consider other options before spending $500 to $800 on another phone. It seems like on the 2 year anniversary of purchase these phones magically break. This is the 3rd Apple phone that we've had in which this has happened. Still, we continue to trust the company and their representatives who are trained to make the company more money instead of really trying to help the customer. An Apple customer loves these products and will more than likely be a customer for life if treated well and with honesty. Where has your ethic gone Apple?
What a horrible store. Went in to make a simple purchase and told I have to wait 25 minutes and could not leave the store. Low tech for a high tech company. Skip this place at all costs!
Amazing service, brought my malfunctioning phone in and a half hour later walked out with a brand new phone
Nice apple store. Their fellows are kind and genius.
when you call press 1 to talk to a manager
Many reviews here are missing the point of this location completely. This location is one of the only apple stores within driving distance for many people and it is a for profit sales driven store. You wait for assistance because the salesmen need sales. If you want a discount and you know it's cheaper somewhere else, don't go here. It seems hard to get a deal after seeing the other reviews. I myself got a discount from one of the nicer employees, along with two other nice experiences. Great for small repairs, but like any other car shop or contractor, the repair you came in for isn't the only problem and you must pay more. Also, all their prices are listed online so anyone too uninterested in doing a price comparison before shopping should avoid this store.
I bought numerous devices at this Apple Store. for instance a MacBook Pro 2012, Apple TV 4 th gen, iPhone 5 s MacBook 2016 stainless steel watch 1rst gen and space gray second gen iPad Pro 9.6 inch iPad Pro 12.9 inch and most recently the MacBook Air 13 inch.this place has gone down hill in the past 7 years. I asked the guy when I bought my MacBook Air can I get a discount he said no I said I could go to Best Buy and get 800.00 cheaper he said go there. what happened to apple? their customer service sucks they have gone down hill since the late great Steve jobs passed away.they are so snotty and stuck up at this store. I'm upset over this store I do not know if I will go there again.
Drove 35 miles to the store. Sat in traffic to get
There. I just want to pick up a I pad and told I have two people in front of me and have to wait. I tell
Then I know exactly which one I want , can you
Just ring it up for me and I am told you
Have to speak and wait to see a certain person. So I can go to target or Best Buy and just pick one up and here I have to wait to speak to someone.
That's great for someone who is not sure what they want or how to use it. I have had two older I pads and just want to pick up a new one. Way to go Apple. I have a Mac Pro, I pad and I phone Will have to re think apple I guess
Worst experience of my life. I will never go back here again. So rude.
My Macbook wasn't charging properly and I had a sticky key. Brought it to Apple Store in Danbury. They had it for five days, then told me they would have to send it to repair facility because, when they opened the case, they found some moisture inside. They said that the minimum charge would be $800. Naturally, I took it back and found Advanced Computer Repair near me in Somers. The repair person looked at the USB-C socket (used for charging on new MacBooks) and removed what looked like a small seed that had been blocking the connector. Then he worked on the sticky key. Everything fixed perfectly in less than five minutes without opening the case. Laptop is like new again. The Danbury Apple Store was so busy following 'procedures' that they couldn't just look at what what was actually wrong with my laptop. So, Apple store may be fine for buying Apples, but I'd skip it for repairs.
Great service but, a poor atmosphere, a lot of people crammed into a small space.
Terrible. It's a complete mess. They employees just kind of stand around they don't walk up to customers and see if anyone needs help. I went in to buy something, but because no one tried to help me after 45 minutes; I left without buying it there and went to a third party. Then another time I went in with an appointment, and had to wait for an hour before someone addressed me -- worst was they stuck me in the corner like a child that's in trouble, to wait for help. Only go to this location if you "have" to; I try to do everything online or through a third-party. Also, the Apple genius desk generally has no idea what they're talking about. Ask them anything in depth and they have no clue.
Apple Sucks. I called the number for the Danbury store and could not get a live person until I dialed several times and kept saying "operator" in to the phone. It transferred me off site somewhere. And after asking my question, I realized it was not the store and I asked where I had been transferred to? I was NOT Rude, but he must have sensed frustration in my voice and he hung up on me!!! I realize automated answering can be helpful, but there are times you need a live person. I am frustrated that I can not get assistance with what should be a simple customer service issue - repairing a cracked screen for a friends phone whose serial number I do not have.
