I love this shop because they are so willing to help the uneducated like myself while selling top quality cigars that my friends and family who know their stuff absolutely love. For years this has been my favorite shop for some more unique gifts for my friends who enjoy cigars. And yes, my friends would tell me if they were bad they had no problem complaining about ones I got from another shop, lol. I’ll stick with Anthonys.
Great place. Jacob was very helpful and informative about the product's and not in a smug way like some other cigar aficionados tend to be.
Very knowledgeable staff with a great selection of exclusive cigars. One of the first places I go when I get to town.
The lounge area is great. There is a decent selection of cigars at this location but several seemed cracked and dried out. It was only certain ones so I don't believe it's the humidor (it seemed to be functioning well.) Overall it was a good experience and I would go back again if I came back to Tucson.
So friendly and accommodating. Paul is friends with you from the moment you enter.
I'm not even a smoker anymore; but I went in to see if they might just have some special small thin cigars that a European friend of mine loves in order to get some for him as a birthday present. I was pleasantly surprised that they carried the exact brand I was looking for. Also, the staff member whom I asked could not have been more helpful and friendly. I asked a number of questions because my father used to be a great connoisseur of cigars; and they were happy to answer all my questions. The ambiance in the place was like a refuge from the heat and noise outside, like an oasis in the desert: cool, quiet, calm, with comfortable leather chairs, etc. . I ordered a drink to have without smoking just because the atmosphere was so restful.
I'm in the market for a new humidor and want to buy one made by Savoy. So I call and ask this place if they carry them, and which ones. Apparently this place only carries one size, and when I asked which size, the guy on the phone guessed how many it would hold (his guess was 40). So I told him that the company makes 4 specific sizes, and asked which they have and then he told me that he wouldn't put more than 20 in it.
There are other tobacconists in town.
