I've been taking my dogs there for 11 years now, had four dogs 11 years ago never had a problem, that was with my ex boyfriend. I have 3 different ones now and take them there four the last 3 years still have not had a problem. I've had males neutered and 3 females spayed and in couple months will have another girl spayed. They are great people and great service and great prices!

This place in my opinion is the best place to take your pet for any type of veterinary care. The prices are the best anywhere else and more importantly the people there actually seem to care about your animal. Very gentle and loving

They truly were comforting and caring. I had to put my dog to sleep and they went above and beyond to make everyone and him comfortable. They even made an imprint of his pawprints for us. Thank you guys for what you all did.

The way we started to go to angels was an emergency (after hours) issue, my husband and I was thinking a hug bill was the outcome. Our mouths dropped open but for a good reason it was a 1/3rd of what we would pay just for a regular visit at our normal vet. Our dog is doing great with recovery. We took our other 2 dogs and they got gold star treatment as well. I will continue to go to them for our animals care. Thank you angels team.

Beware. You get what you pay for. This is a Non-Profit clinic that was filled with young Vets and Techs that have little experience. (During my visits to Angels) If people value their pet's life, take them somewhere like Twin Pines Animal Clinic in St. Joseph, MO. With Angels, I've had some good experiences and some very horrible ones. In most recent visit, I brought my cat in with poisoning. They released her too early, and within the 1st hour, I could still see the obvious signs that she was deathly ill, and poisoned. FFS! She was repeatedly collapsing, within 1 HOUR OF RELEASE. I immediately brought her back, and they wanted to charge me another fee to put her back in the hospital, after they released her prematurely. They had to keep her another day or two, before she could safely be returned home.

I will never go there again! I was a walk in with my cat! I visited them in April with my sweet cat. I waited for awhile before I saw a vet if that's what you call them there. She came in for about 5 minutes & felt my cats stomach while asking the problem & literally told me she had a huge mass in her stomach & told me my cat had 2 weeks to live. She told me there probably wouldn't be anything they could do but suggested an X-ray just to make sure the mass was where she thought it was. I looked at the X-ray but I'm not a vet so I really wasn't sure what I saw. I was sent home with terrible news to tell my daughters & 2 medications & $80 dollars later!! They may be a reasonable place for cost for vet services but I think you get what you pay for!! Guess what !! I'm writing this 3 months after I visited them with the terrible news of a 2 week death news for my cat! I cried all the way home! The I had to tell my 2 teenage daughters their sweet cat has a mass in her stomach & is dying! BUT guess what? She is still alive!! She is doing fine! I feel like they felt like oh it's just another cat let's just get her thru & get there money!! I really feel like they wanted me just to say right then & there to put her down right then ! I will never suggest this place to anyone for vet services or NEVER go there again!!

I know these people personally and they have always done great things for animals. My dog needed treatment for a severe ear infection, all tests/shots updated and a little trim on her nails it was about $40. As a matter of fact we will be taking her to see them again soon ! Much love to Lisa and Gary and their staff.

Ask this vet/office if they have ever been guilty of gross negligence, careless mistakes, improper diagnosis, improper or incorrect treatment, etc. Just ask. Perhaps you have had a good experience, or someone you know has had a good experience. That does not reflect what could be happening behind the scenes. You may not think to ask questions but you definitely should. Ask about lawsuits. Your pet deserves quality care and it is your job to make sure they will recieve it.
Don't be blinded by a kind word or cheap price. Ask questions. It's your right to ask.
BTWif you can't afford to pay for quality care, you probably shouldn't own a pet. Just saying.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE! This place is beyond horrible. This is not my story but i've been okayed to share it.: ATTN: I took my puppy to Angel Vets today and was told he tested positive for parvo and I would have to have $80 before they would even look at him. I told them I didn't have that so they said there was nothing they could do. When I told them I would take him home and self treat him they gave me advice on what to do and sent me on my way.
St Joe pound just showed up at my door saying angels called them bc I refused treatment for him. the man also said if I don't take him to a vet before tomorrow he's coming back with the police. : I have heard countless stories like this one, Not to mention that this person had already lost one animal because someone at this vet diagnosed the animal incorrectly. She only went back there because she was short on cash. I will make damn sure this information gets out to everyone and we will always be contacting the news with gathered stories of this place. There was a lady that worked there for a day but quite directly afterwards because she couldn't stand how they treated the animals when the owners weren't there, slamming them around to make them corporate and such. This is sad and sickens me.

Angel's should be fined for refusing him. Don't even Deserve 1 Star!

Fantastic attendants and a vet that really cares! I knew my lab was going on a one way trip to the vet office. I asked the vet to give her a larger dose of the drug to relax her before the final dose that stopped her heart.
They knew the pain I was in having to do this in the first place. Sasha was my pain dog, even when she was at her worst and in pain, she would always lay next to me knowing I was hurting.
The vet and staff knew how much my little lady meant to me and made the process as easy and humane as they could.
This vet went above and beyond what I could have expected from them. I could see in their eyes and expressions, their compassion they gave Sasha. This vet really cares about their clients pets and the owners expectations.
I would NEVER consider another vet. This vets office really cares about what they do.

Excellent service. I will say that you will definitely wait as they stay constantly busy, but I've never had a bad experience and the pricing is amazing.
Keep in mind that you should call ahead for any major events, such as surgery, and they are always looking for donations, see their website.
It's a bit of a trip from KC, about an hour, but the savings alone are definitely worth it.

This place is amazing! I am so happy I decided to drive up there! So affordable! I was anticipating a way higher bill!! Anywhere else I am sure I would have spent $200-$300. I only spent $50 for all the medications and the visit and the testing! I will always go here from now on!! Thank you so much to all the staff!
