Today has really made me realize how Angel Pet Hospital in Edmonds Wa loves to push medication and shots, As every time I left their when my dogs were sick it is estimated they received 2 shots and 2 prescription medications and my bill was over $200 but you know I would have done anything my vet said to keep my dog healthy. I will now question every medication or injection put into my dogs body to be sure it is really needed and will NEVER bring my dogs back to this establishment, Be warned!!!!

I took my two dogs to Angel Pet hospital on several occasions, both for vaccinations and when we had concerns with our animals health. I was informed today that one of my dogs was due for a rabies vaccine, I called around to several local vets as I have since moved from Edmonds and was informed by several of them including my vet prior to bringing my dogs to Angel Pet Hospital that he does not need another vaccine for 3 years. I called Angel Pet to discuss this and after several hours/call backs asking to speak to the Dr then clinic manager, my concerns escalated to Lisa the district manager who works out of the South Seattle Vet Clinic. The conversation started out by her stating I was confused about the vaccine schedule, I quoted the Wa state guidelines which state “the first booster shot is needed after one year, and subsequent boosters typically every three years.” They follow the AAHA guidelines which state my dog needs his booster prior to the 1 year mark or else he needs to restart the series. I explained I work in healthcare and look at immunization schedules daily and that I was never informed of this schedule they quote and that Wa state guidelines should be followed. I was informed I may bring in my dog for the rabies vaccine at a discounted rate but Explained my dog had a reaction the last time so I would like to avoid unnecessary vaccines. I asked for a waiver but Lisa said there was no such thing then explained to me how they could medicate him prior to the vaccine and then monitor him for reactions. I declined and informed her that there indeed is a waiver and I found this when doing my research, Lisa then went on to say the waiver would require a blood test proving immunity, wait didn’t she just tell me there was no such thing as a waiver so I was just lied to again? I informed Lisa from the South Seattle Vet clinic that I would no longer be using them and she said that is great, talk about amazing customer service!

Dr Singh and his staff are wonderful! They know my dog by name and always welcome us as soon as we come in. They have very reasonable pricing (the puppy and kitten wellness packages are a great deal!) and provide an excellent quality of care. They are also wonderful at working with our insurance company to make payment and reimbursement quick and easy. I highly recommend Angel Pet Hospital.

I believe this place deserves a 0 star due to the way that they treat dogs here. my girlfriend recently brought her dog here just to have her dog examined, which turned out to be a very unpleasant experience. they tried to put a muzzle on a non aggressive dog even when she specifically told them not to put one on. the nurses and doctor were also very rude to her, I don't believe anyone should go here.

This clinic gives appropriate care for my two dogs. However, I am turned off when Dr Singh always tries to add extra unnecessary procedures or medications to increase the profit margin. I also noticed that his staff hardly ever smiles and aren't very friendly. This clinic tempted me with their cheap coupons, but watch out because the final cost will be exceedingly high. For instance, a coupon for dental cleaning was $88, but when I picked up my dog, the bill was over $600!

Incredibly helpful and kind. They've helped us with minor inconveniences and life-changing decisions. All for about a quarter of the cost of what we were quoted at a vet closer to the Edmonds Bowl. I cannot recommend them enough

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE.

We had to bring our dog here on a Sunday due to a dislocated toe, our dog was left unsupervised without a cone (even though we were told to make sure that didn't happen) and gave herself a hotspot. The injury went from almost like new, to worse than the original injury after the "sunday" staff had their hands on our pet. If you do not have the staff to handle emergencies, DON'T CLAIM TO. We are now spending thousands to see if the foot was properly set in the first place!

I find that vets are important. On my last visit when I needed the shots they had me pay extra for a blood test to try and find illness in her but she was completely fine and had no signs of illness. They say this is typical when a dog gets older that it should be tested. I wish dogs had insurance.

Staff really seems to care about the animals they help, and they're quite friendly as well. Their prices are spectacular, and they partner with south seattle vet hospital, so sometimes they refer back and for between each other depending on what's needed.

I will close with one thing I would have had to put our younger dog down a couple of times over if it had not been for this place and their sister location. Their prices and care have saved my pets a couple of times where otherwise we would not have been able to afford treatment.

Dr. Singh was great with handling my cat's CRF (kidney failure). I didn't get overcharged for lab work, he explained all the options to me, and was very compassionate and caring. He didn't try to pressure me or try to get more money for unnecessary procedures like other vets have done to me before. The front office staff is a bit young and can be inattentive and unfocused. But overall I was happy with the care and treatment my cat received here.

Dr Singh where do I begin, can not provide helpful information or solve my pets issue of UTI. It's common in senior male cats to get UTIs and it is best for them to change diets to wet food, this information was given to me by the Vet it was from my research and other sources all this vet wanted to do was run another test and another test. Along with this treatment I also received horrible customer service from the receptionist for not scheduling an appointment to pick up antibiotics..since when is that necessary. Don't take your pets here.
