The snow making is great. The Quality of the man made snow is very good. So even when mother nature is not quite cooperative, you still have a 2,000 foot vertical to ski! Great ski area for families too.

The mountain bike park is outstanding. It really is a great place to ride in the summer. The staff in the ticket office and in the park are friendly and helpful. The reason for the mediocre rating is that the facility is pretty dated and even rundown in places. We've stayed in their hotel, and it's pretty bad. Find a VRBO in the area. There are plenty to choose from, and they're comparably priced. Also, the resort policy on lift closure is needlessly unfair. If they close the park due to wind they don't give vouchers to come back another day. Of course they won't do a refund, but why not a return voucher?

Stayed here for a couple of nights over the summer. I highly recommend, especially if you have a dog. They made staying with a dog a very easy process. Rooms are fine for the price.

Still some of the most fun DH trails you can have! Finally was able to ride devinci s code and it was worth the wait! The Lodge offers a good deal and the staff is nice, especially Shawna.

Great Mountain Bike Park!!! Definitely aggressive terrain, the blues are more like black diamonds most other places you'd go. No beginner trails as far as I could tell greens were more like blues). Beautiful and open till October 22nd. 100% recommend if you want to ride hard and improve your technical skills!

Excellent but watch out for the weather. We stayed when everything was closed because of lightning threat and after two hours the chair lift reopened but we missed the zipline. Call ahead.

We stay here every time we go to Angle fire. It is good. They habe several restraunts and a pool with hot tube. Good in the summer and winter.

This place was very outdated. The toilets were about 12 inches off the floor. The shower heads were to short for a 5' 8 person. The furniture was old, old, old. Otherwise it was clean and the beds were fairly comfortable. The kitchen was OK also. And there was hummingbirds out on the balcony.

Well, firstly, there is no A/C in any of the rooms. It's pretty dated. The rooms are big, but the beds were a little hard for us. But most of the staff was friendly and nice. We ate at the Legends restaurant and was expecting the food to be just ok too. We were pleasantly surprised by our food and drinks. That totally exceed our expectations.

It was nice after a long drive to enjoy a pint of beer and a plate of fish & chips - which were excellent if a bit pricy @ $14.95. staff was attentive & friendly. Great food, great beer, recommended for anyone looking for a casual meal in Angel Fire.

Nice staff. Would be better if they had outside seating, a proper breakfast restaurant and a spare toothbrush at the front desk. Also it's getting dated.

Awesome mountain! I really enjoyed the friendly people and laid back atmosphere. I'm an intermediate level skier and my friend is getting good at snowboarding. We made some fantastic runs over two days. The snow was thin because of the warm temps. But the grooming and the sun made for some great fun! Definitely coming back with the family!

Personally my favorite ski resort in New Mexico. This resort has something for everybody in all types of experience. There park set up is pretty good but It can always be better but all the runs that they have are nicely groomed and exquisite to ride. Good night riding is even available on the main hill. If skiing is not your forte there is also a tubing and other amenities. The angel fire Valley is a beautiful site from the summit.

The resort is an excellent family resort with a lot of amenities. Some things about the resort are better than others. Skiing here is great, although it is a medium sized mountain. Chair lifts are fast and they are easy on, easy off (the chairs slow down as you board and debark then speed back up). The ski school staff is outstanding as well. Food service at the resort could be better, with the Country Club and Bar offering the best dining. The hotel is a bit aged, but definitely serviceable as a ski / mountain biking hotel, but isn't the same as something you would find in Vail or Aspen. There isn't much of a traditional ski village here, so plan on taking a car to nearby locations.
