This place compared to 5 star hotels that I've been to the anchor inn has the cleanest sheets ,pillows covers and towels . reliable staff that ensures all is clean. And the plus it a safe place to stay.

Very modest. The owner is polite, courteous and friendly. Our room is clean, furnished with a range, refrigerator and microwave. The cost is reasonable, but the main reason we booked a room is because our dog is welcome.

You pay for what you get here. Decent accommodations for a low price. The best part is the location. It's close to town and in walking distance of the marina and a lot of restaurants.

The rooms are huge, at least the one we got is. its almost like having a studio apartment. Has a little kitchen and dining area, a couch area, bed and bathroom. a little bit outdated but for the price i cant really complain, especially because he was so great about us having two dogs with us.

Non professional and extremely rude owner,he kept us waiting 45 mins in very cold weather while on repeated reminders on call he kept saying I am coming, against our confirmed booking.He was not at facility, when he arrived he argued very rudely instead of being apologetic. He refused to give us room while saying I am owner of the business I will run it as I want.

This place is not bad at all, especially if you can get a room on sale online. It's been renovated relatively recently, so there are many things about the room that are pretty nice: rooms are huge for the price you get, I had no problems with the Internet speed, and at night it was relatively quiet. It's also really close to the water if that is something you like to be able to look at in the morning.
However, there are a couple things that prevent me from giving this place a higher rating. First, the office double-charged me for a two-day stay and would not correct their error. I don't think it was the person in the office, but someone offsite managing the finances, but he would not cooperate in correcting this error. This is not acceptable, and I hate to have to dispute charges with my credit card company, but I am currently disputing the second erroneous charge. Be very careful to check your credit card statement if you are staying here.
Second, the noise canceling between rooms is pretty terrible. You can hear every time your neighbor says something to his companion in the room, coughs, or makes a telephone call. The walls must be paper-thin. It woke me up more than once in the nighttime.response / report this review -
