Went to the theaters and had two fans in the theater 13 that were unbalanced and banging. Expecting to be turned away in disgust when asking the manager to fix, she instead greeted me with a smile and immediately radioed an employee to turn the fans off. The manager did a good job in turning what was a previous 2 star review about how a theater could treat their patron to a home movie experience, into a satisfied movie goer who definitely would come to this theater again and has a positive feeling about this establishment.
Best movie theaters ever my brother used to work here then he turned 18 and moved so he can no longer work here but yah they have the best movies here
Speedy line to purchase tickets. Very clean and they give you verbal directions to your theatre when they take your tickets. The temperature was a little to low but not unbearable.
Never really had a bad experience over the years. My wife and I went to see Valerian over the summer, and it had barely noticeable frame issues, dropping frames here and there. They rebooted the film mid-way through, which took about five minutes, so my wife and I were able to use the bathroom and get drink/popcorn refills without missing any of the movie. Already a win. It got better though when, during the second half of the film, the manager came in and handed us two comp tickets for our next visit. This place knows how to treat people.
Me and my wife having been going to the movies a lot more recently and have always had a good experience. We just went to go see the movie "IT" and man it was awesome. Haven't seen a good horror flick like that in a long time. I definitely recommend the movie and the theater.
I went to the theater last week to see Dr. Strange in 3D. The theater itself is nice, but my experience was less than stellar. First off, tye movie was supposed to start at 4:30, but the usher told me to go to the theater that stated at 4pm when I mentioned that the movie had already started there he said that is the theater I need to go to so I missed the first 5 minutes. If that werent already a problem the projectors were not aligned correctly. Even with the glasses the whole movie was displaying in double. I asked a few other people in the theater if they saw it that way too and everyone said yes. I went to customer service to tell them that they needed to align the projectors and the lady at the desk responded "We've been running the movie all day and no one else has complained" Having worked in customer service before I can honestly say that I would have been written up for that kind of a response.
I hope someone does check the projectors in theater 9 because I dont believe the customer service department will follow up and I am sure many other people will feel that they wasted their money on an effect that they didn't get to experience.
So my recommendation is to show up way before the movie starts just in case they move you to a different theater and walk out and complain to a manager if the movie is messed up because the regular customer service will blow you off.
The price was just right, and we had fresh popcorn, it was delicious. We just happen to be the only ones in the movie. IT WAS FANTASTIC! Comfortable seating.
Recommend that you go early as possible. Gets busy and loud after the 1st showing. Staff is friendly though and seats are okay far as comfort goes.
Movies are great. Service is great. It is clean. Only issue is the concessions are getting outrageously expensive. Small popcorn and large water is $14. So eat before you go because the snacks cost more than the movie.
Admittedly we came later than I would've liked but the staff didn't help. It was like everything was in slow motion. The ticket sale and concession were so slow and overpriced each. Doesn't appear to be many options elsewhere and I guess they know it.
Completely lied right to my face about the rewards cards free popcorn and drinks, has to be small and no way to just upcharge???? I can't even think of any theatre that doesn't do that! No way to get a refund on the rewards card at all. This was just a scam, not even worth it!
One of the few theaters in town. Very busy on the weekend as the kids don't have much to do. If you are an adult, go on any other night instead of Friday or Saturday.
i cant understand how people say the seats are comfortable. the cushions must be a decade old, you feel the frame of the eat thru the cushions. completely confused. y'all must be sitting on several inches of your own cushion. and the popcorn - lowest bidder anyone?
I am about to watch Logan now. It is the only movie theater in Macon ga. It is always clean. They got enough cinemas. It is a good place to go to watch movies at.
