Let’s start with we found a old bloody towel in the bathroom along with blood smeared on the bath tub. The sink knob had green stuff inside of it! Kinda like fungus. There was stains on our pillows and sheets seemed like they didn’t wash them. Also the look on the door wasn’t lined up corrrectley so we couldn’t have the double lock. And there was a huge hole by the heater and when I went to tell them when I was checking out I wanted to make sure they wasn’t going to charge my card for damage and they said it wasn’t there before and I told her to go check with the other lady. The other lady said yes it was there before them. I told her also what we found and they said out sheet had a little chocolate on them from our kids (they had M&Ms ) they said they was charging us $25!!! I will never EVER RECOMMEND THEM! Also the rooms are very old

I attempted to stay here a couple of weekends ago on a trip into Kansas City. I knew it was a cheap place, but figured that was fine because my girlfriend and I wouldn't be spending much time in the room. We showed up in the middle of the night to find a man behind bulletproof glass ready to check us in. The smell of chlorine was very strong in the air. The girlfriend was a bit unsettled. We saw someone else ready to check in. We let her go in front of us. In the mean time we looked into the hotel a bit more. Saw there were multiple complaints about the room. It was late and the first night had already been charged to my credit card, so we figured we would just stay Saturday night and figure something out for Monday night if we could see the room. In the mean time we saw a very well dressed man coming up to take his security deposit back. His hair was done. He walked up and received his room deposit back at one O'clock in the morning. The man behind the counter gave it back to him like this was perfectly normal. Why would someone be dressed up and be leaving a hotel at 1 AM? I'll let you be the judge of that.
We decided if we could see the room we would stay the night at least and then figure something out for Sunday night. The man behind the counter wouldn't let us see the room. So we decided to leave.
Did not receive a refund for the first night. Would not recommend to anyone. Seems like the main reason this place is open is for ladies of the night to work their magic.

Just stayed the night here while driving across the country. This is the worst hotel ever! Cockrochs everywhere, smells so bad and blankets and sheets with burn holes. We got in at 1am and we were so tired, we had to just sleep anyway. 100.00 for that was messed up! Stay away!

Rate for room was going to be 70+ taxes, but online was 20 dlls less. Office staff told us we had to do it online if we wanted the other price so we did reserved online. Def. Not worth the $70+. Tv wasn't working I had to mess with it for awhile, not to mention control remote was filthy and not working. Furniture and carpet old. Hair dryer missing and bathroom had mold. One of the bathroom lights wasn't working it was kind of dark. Posted some pics.

Its a old motel but its cheap so the rooms are clean your close to public trans monday -saturday no public trans on sunday the only thing i would say is the desk and desk chair is to large for the space in the room how i would up date the hotel is go room by room i would take every thing out and put the same bed in but i would put a differenr desk and chair in and dresser i would put new plugs in and usb plugs for cell phones i think people would like that a lot i would put new lights in every room and make them all led lights and the bath room and the sink i would remove the door and build more of a wall and and the sink and mirror in with bath tub and shower i do think that could be done and i would re paint the rooms and re paint the whole building so it looks like its a welcome place and i would put the frig and micwave on top of the dresser to save floor room and i would have 2 end tables on both side of the bed and for the breakfast for the price to stay here its great i would switch it up every day on what i serve to my guest i would love to be come part of the hotel i think i could make it a lot better place to say i would charge for a night 75.00 with the price going up i could work with up grade in the rooms and i could get a better supply for breakfast and i would put different tvs in all rooms and its a great hotel just needs some one who will go from room to room and fix it up i think it would be a great hotel with up grades

the rooms was very dirty and smelled nasty and very out dated and to large of desk and chair and ac/heater in room my ideal would be re paint the hotel rooms and new beding would help and lot and the fridge did not even keep my food cold so that was a huge issue i had to could not keep food staf was great the only other issue i had was the cleaning people did not speak english so when you tryed to talk with them they did not under stand at all there was lots of people smoke pot and doing drugs here and this hotel is a sex hotel and weed hotel i would re do the whole hotel

We checked in around midnight. We lost everything we own in a fire and the staff were very friendly and understanding as to why some of us weren't wearing shoes. The rooms were clean. Cigarette burns in the blankets but they were at least clean. We had a full roll and a small bit of toilet paper in the bath room. We had to ask for more towels twice. The bed was insanely comfortable. I'm not sure if it was from the stress or what but we are really enjoying the stay. Would 100% recommend.

Great basic hotel, clean and comfy with minor inconveniences that don't quite round it out. Tv was almost too blurred to watch, and bathroom light turned on maybe half the time instantly, flickering to life slowly the other times. Fridge excellently roomy and cold, microwave worked slowly but worked. Yet, for the price, would do it again a hundred times. Recommended.

Quiet location. Has a washer and dryer on site (small but extremely efficient and clean). Vending machine in office area, works perfect. Awesome staff, and Im talking awesome as in extremely rare to see anymore. Our group had a small issue that was fixed right then, no waiting, just straight to it. Everyone is present to speak with. All of our rooms were extremely clean, and house keeping is right on top of anything you may need. Im rather surprised considering its a budget location. Only problem I have is the WiFi. Its sporadic, not from use. The system completely shuts down then comes back on at random times (23 in the time it took me to write this) causing all of us to log in each time and thats if there is even any network available when it does kick in. For some the police coming through the parking lot a few times a day may seem detouring, however its just a local service offered to all businesses in the area to make a presence if time allows to keep would be theivs away.

So basically it's 9:41 at night when we checked in on 4-30-2017 got in my room and let's just say pay the extra $20 to go some where else I paid $70 for my room through Expedia and it was such short notice also. However there is no phone in my room as soon as I turned on the heater a big burst of cigarette smoke came out of the vents and I paid for a NON SMOKING ROOM. My daughter has asthma that's why I booked a non smoking room in the first place. Then on top of that the bathroom mirror had streaks going across it from the cleaners rushing to get the room clean. Then on top of that I had no phone in my room to call and complain about my room. I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk. Then it is raining today my hair was wet. Went to use the hair dryer it only worked for about 2 minutes and now won't come back on. Then when I called the front desk on my cell phone to see what they would do about the wrongs. He told me he could bring me a phone in my room and wipe the bathroom clean again for me. I am a woman by myself with my seven year old daughter I don't want a man coming in our room this late at all period. Then I asked him what he could do for me at least a $20 credit or something. The guy at the front desk said no he can not do that but he could refund me all of my money and we had to check out tonight WTF? I have a seven year old with me in another state obviously it's too late to go hotel hopping to see who will be better. I am beyond pissed and a simple $20 credit would have prevented this review from being posted I am a pretty easy going person. Then they called me back on my cell phone to tell me they can move me to the room right next to us to me that sounds stupid and pointless. To pack up everything I just brought in to go to a room right next door to us that just as well may be worse. I swear I have nothing against different races but it always seems like people not from America do not value reviews or customer service they forget we are the ones that keep their business running. Please Avoid at all cost if you don't feel like fussing about your room because here you will fuss about something in your room. I could have went down the street and paid $20 more that was my mistake and I will never make that mistake again when it comes to hotels and traveling. Then on top of that over half of he channels on the tv do not work so stuck watching the news which I already know it's raining I can see it outside and I was in it. Just very upset with this hotel and to me the price was not cheap either for a $70 room. Not even a channel guide either like most hotels we visit so now I know even $70 for a room is still a cheap hotel in this society. The sheets are filthy also when I went to pull back the covers spots everywhere with dirt stains that look like they could have came out of the sheets if they didn't pack the washer so much then the bedding would be clean.

We got their late, but they got us right into a room and it was clean. Very nice room for a reasonable rate. I recommend the Independence location anytime. Even 2:30 a.m. The bed was awesome too. King size for under $70? Awesome!
