Food presentation and taste was very good. The staff was very welcoming and extremely attentive. We felt our business was welcomed. We're an African-American couple nearing retirement. The clientele was respectable the several visits we had thus far. We're going to come back soon to check out the local entertainment talent sometime soon on Fri and Sat evening. We also meet the owner, great lady and we intend to support hershe's making an impact in her business.

Enjoyed 2 lunches today, I ordered the pot roast, my husband had the fish & chips. Fish was perfect for breading & crispiness, pot roast was awesome. We ordered 2 different items to share. Service great, food great. Can't wait to go back for dinner.

My wife and I had Fish & Chips and Pot Roast over mashed potatoes for lunch. Totally worth the trip, they were both delicious. We'll be back!

Amazing food! I had inrnof their fish sandwiches, I wish I had taken a picture! The fish was twice as large as the bun. Crispy, but too greasy. I don't like slaw, but this was superb. This is my new favorite place for lunch, dinner, and drinks!!

Very worried about customer service when we first walked in the door with a group of 14. In town for a ball tournament and just trying to find somewhere close for a big group to go. Took about 5 minutes for a hostess to come up front and then when we said 14 she looked at me like I had 3 heads and said "we can't help you." I mentioned the outside seating and she said "that may be okay." As we were making our way outside I heard her say "I will have someone out there soon, I promise." Not what you want to hear. To my surprise, Megan was there before we knew it. She did a fantastic job with 7 teenage boys and 7 adults. Sure it took awhile, but we had no where to go so we didn't mind. Well worth it. Outside seating worked out great for us as there was a "band" inside and it was packed and quite noisy. The food was fantastic, not 1 of us didn't love what we ordered. If you have a larger group I wouldn't go unless it was nice outside for seating or unless you called ahead to let them know you were coming, but if we lived there by husband and I would be there all the time.

Nothing to write home about, it really is just a tavern. Ripped ( and taped) seats, Swiss cheese is more like white American cheese, au jus was (probably) canned gravy, small meat portion. I've heard folks go for the live bands, we went for dinner, but once was enough.

This is the second time in 6 months I've been here. The service, food and cleanliness of this place is one of the worest in Loganville. They had 2 tables of people playing poker yes, poker. The bar area had several people that should have been cut off from drinking along time ago. A young female sitting at 1 table with her head down like she was going to go to sleep. Not to mention the tables had just plain paper on it. Restaurants in Loganville area shouldn't have to figure out why we're driving to other areas to eat now.

Perfection on every plate! Don't be a coward, grab one of Chef Joey's specials and loose yourself in a culinary masterpiece! If you're not feeling too crazy, grab any steak, you'll never find a better steak in your life! Our server was the Manager Johnathan who seems to be notoriously famous in the earlier reviews on here. His sexual orientation and personable attitude never got in the way of my amazing time. Thank you to everyone at American Tavern for a great evening!
