Don't miss this place on the misgivings of the old management. The food and drinks are delicious. Try it again.

I had tacos, they were boring, no one in my family thought their meal was very tasteful either, the establishment indicates it serves California style Mexican food, but it was no different than any of the other Mexican restaurants in the area. The salsa tastes like it was from a jar, not something made fresh in house. For the price and the claim of California style Mexican food, I was really disappointed.

I was hit on my right temple with a square plate. This caused a bad pain in my head most of the night (I have lead in my left temple from an accident). There were 15 at my table. The server stood by me and passed orders over me. My daughter asked for ice for my head and it was totally forgotten. My granddaughter walked me to the car 15 minutes later. They said food was NOT so great.

Visited 3 times total, food is decent but does not compare to most Mexican restaurants. If you are looking for a really good Mexican restaurant in the Buford area, check out El Taco Jalisco right down the street from them or make a short drive up 985 to La Parrilla in Flowery Branch. Either option will be more authentic and taste much better than Fuego.

Drinks were pricey but poured nicely. Not irrespomsibly nice but professionally and generously. Waitress was slammed but stayed very nice and polite.

Great food and they have some type of special almost every day. My favorite is Taco Tuesdays, with $1.00 tacos and $2.00 Fireball shots. It's not typically very busy and they can be caught off guard if confronted with multiple large tables at the same time due to staffing, but it's worth the necessary patience and grace. Recommended!

It sits quietly among a small set of shops and restaurants. Once you've been there, you'll never pass it by on purpose, again. The staff is wonderful and the food is definitely worth going back to experience many more times. My husband is vegetarian and they were very respectful of that and made sure he had a great dinner experience as well.

Great atmosphere, great food, great business lunch. The clients loved the food, and it was very quiet for a Thursday lunch.

    They Just Mexican't.
If they put half as much money and attention to detail in their food/ingredients, as they do for the decor and service it would be a great place.

But they don't, and it's painfully obvious. I don't know how they have stayed in business as long as they have, because Buford is chock-full of really good Mexican restaurants.
