We hired them moving from a third floor apt to a house. They were on time, friendly, polite and got after it. We were impressed with how quick the 2 man crew moved. They were careful with everything and observant with what they were doing. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing moved.

Worst experience ever moving my grandparents. They charged $4800 and still not everything was moved. For gods sake they wrapped safety goggles with 5 sheets of paper and charged $125+ an hour. We still have quite a bit to pack ourselves for my grandparents. Please choose someone else when considering moving! At least not some company that takes advantage of the elderly and comes prepared with the right size moving truck.

Cost me $3000 in damages. Talked to the manager and he blamed the damages on my elderly parents Definitely don’t have the wrong company. DON’T USE THEM

They dropped my washer! Down the stairs!!! It was only about 8 months old. Scratched it up! Wanted it replaced! The owner Refused and told me I was being unreasonable?!?!?! Don't work with a company that will damage expensive items and not replace! Disgusted last thing a person should deal with when moving!

Great experience! The company was very flexible to accommodate our moving schedule and you couldn't find a group of more hard working guys. They were fast and efficienteverything was moved without any damage. I'd highly recommend American Movers!

We would hire them again in a minute. We had them move a very large aquarium and stand, from one basement to another. James, Joe, and Jon got the tank and stand loaded, drove it across town, and delivered it in under two hours. With no breaks, cracks, dings, or other damage to the aquarium, the stand, or the walls or fixtures in either house. Worth every penny we paid. The guys were all very nice, which is not always the case when dealing with movers.

Edit: We have now used them to move 2 more fish tanks (first one developed a leak, second tank had a manufacturing flaw, third one is finally a good tank!). We have had different crews for each move, and continue to be impressed with their professionalism and kindness, as well as their promptness and willingness to fit us in quickly.

Imagine seeing the owner come to help his crew pack and load, unbelievable. Will not see that very often if ever. Jon, the owner, is the da man. Professional, kind, informative, and engaged. His crew had our 3500 square foot place pack, and loaded within 4 hours. Then the next day, Joe and Juan, his 2 man crew drove to Columbia, MO unloaded within 3 hours and that included set up. Nothing damaged, nothing broke. Joe and Juan take a lot of pride in what they do, and it shows in their work ethic and commitment. You guys rocks.

Absolutely wonderful. I moved in this summer when Joe & James with American Movers helped move me in to my new apartment on the second floor. These guys were awesome! Very professional, extremely thoughtful not do damage my furniture or the apt, and did it in literally 1/2 the time I expected.

This review is a little over-do, but I wanted to make sure Joe & James got the credit they deserve.

The movers were nice and polite. They did the job quickly and, to my surprise, left no holes in the walls. In all honesty I was pleasantly surprised. American Movers does an excellent job.
