The worst service ever. They give you a two hour window and don't stick to it. And they are extremely rude. Never , ever again will is use..

Have enlisted the Thomas organization twice in past years, and have nothing but good things to say about them. They quoted a fair price, arrived on time, with a large enough crew and truck to do the job. They also had the correct tools and supplies, and get this, they used them! It took them a little longer, but they wrapped and protected furniture and appliances. Were careful manuevering around the house, using carpet covers to move things inside, on clean dollies, with clean tires. The crew of young men were absolutely great! Very courteous, respectful, and offered to do more than what we asked. They were just very hard workers, worked a long day, and were just as nice at the end of the day, as when they started. Great attitudes! Adfitionally, on the admin side, we had excellent written and oral communication with the Thomas office people. Upon accepting their bid they supplied us with an ample supply of packing boxes of all sizes. These boxes alone would have cost us $100s of dollars to go out and buy separately. To make a short story long, I have nothing but good things to say about Thomas Transfer and Storage. We got a great service at a fair price.

We had them pack and move us from Wichita,Ks to Slidell, La. both services were outstanding! Each crew took extra care to ensure no damage occurred to our goods or our houses. Everyone was polite and helpful. A truly pleasant experience. We spent 20 years in the Marine Corps and have moved a lot. In fact this is our twentieth move so we have definite ideas about what good service is. These folks are the best

Two gentlemen from Thomas Transfer delivered a mattress we ordered from J.C. Penneys. They did an excellent job with the delivery. They called ahead as I had requested. They did the job quickly and efficiently.

if you’re are doing research for a moving company, and are reading reviews. Cody & Adam Crowner are the 2 best movers i have meet in all my moves. my extended family has had horror stories from mayflower and other moving companies in america. but with all of the questions and proactive things i could think of doing. i still ran into the worst moving experience i could possibly imagine. and the movers held our stuff hostage for over a week. and then held any form of compensation back. but the real heroes in this story is Cody & Adam Crowner of Thomas united van lines and the exceptional service of the wichita division of united van lines. i have nothing but good things to say. these guys successfully negotiated the safe delivery of all my items being held hostage by the prior moving company. in the future if i move again i will use Thomas united van lines and make a request to have Cody & Adam Crowner as my movers if available. good job guys 100% satisfied and outstanding attitude and careful handling of breakable items.

Thomas Transfer is an exceptional moving company. Brian Butcher, the sales representative was more than professional. He was prompt, precise and accurate with our appointment and his quote. The loaders were just as professional. They took extra precautionary measures to make sure items were packed securely and well protected. They explained how the moving process would take place from point A to point B and where items would be stored until moving day. The unloaders did an unbelievable job! I say this because they had to wallk a short distance from the truck, through a parking garage then up an elevator. They placed all items where instructed and assembled things. They were diligent about inspecting all pieces of furniture, making sure nothing was damaged. They were more than polite and courteous. My husband was so impressed that he generously tipped them!

In summary, I wouldn't hesitate to use Thomas Transfer again!

I am clearly an outlier among these reviews, and maybe I just had a bad crew. That said, my experience was thoroughly miserable. Late packers, late loaders, late deliverers, some breakage, impertinent remarks, and all-in-all, bad. Ended up getting some adjustment, but frankly not enough to calm me down. Never, ever, will I deal with them again.

Great moving company! Just wanted to write a note and tell you how pleased we are with the move today. The guys were absolutely delightful. They worked together as a team beautifully. They were polite, pleasant, and diligent. They were each 5 star gentlemen as far as my husband and I are concerned. We would like to request them for the next move, to the villa, if at all possible!
