The lady at the register will suck the Christmas Spirit right out of you. Her answer was a cold, flat, “no” to everything I asked. She could not have cared less about helping me, and I left empty handed

50 shades of pink. Perhaps this should be obvious, but this place was not decorated with male patrons in mind. Having said that, being here makes my daughter very happy. Which makes me very happy. We are eating at the Breakfast with Santa in the Bistro. The food is good but the portions are limited. Eat a snack before you come.

This store is loud, bright, over-crowded and snotty. The "salon" worker we had was snippy with my daughter who was just asking questions. Don't bother to come here if you don't have an American Girl doll, even though everything fits any 18 inch doll. My daughter has several 18 inch dolls (we haven't bought her an actual AG doll yet, we were waiting until she is a little older and can take care of such an over-priced doll) the salon would not pierce my daughter's doll's ears and only offered three ridiculous hairstyles for "Non AG dolls" that I can do myself and should have. My daughter was sobbing about the ear piercing (the doll has the exact same type of plastic as an AG doll) but the salon worker ignored her and continued to drill us with questions and made us sign a form to fix the dolls hair because she isn't an "AG doll". Talk about making my daughter feel special on her birthday, she felt anything but. When we got home we used a small drill bit and pierced the doll's ears ourselves, super easy. I will never go back here and probably won't buy anything from AG. My daugher's non-AG dolls are just as nice and a fraction of the cost.

So far so good. First time I went to the mall for something else and stopped in to ask a question. They were very helpful. My oldest daughter had received a doll and extra outfit for Christmas but the dress had ripped. They said bring it back and they would exchange it. When she got back home from summer away I took her in. She had a blast looking around and just like before, they were helpful. Exchanged the dress with no problem and that made us both happy. Even considering throwing her a party here.

My dad has gone and I have not gone. He got me Gabriela. I think it will be fun because I really like AG dolls. The're 18" and their fun to use it's really nice playing with Gabby. My mum said if I pass my exams I'll go to Atlanta (not for the 1st time) but it'll be really fun going. But now the holidays are in we didn't go there. But I hope to go for Christmas holiday.

The restaurant is so pretty, sweet, and pink. I felt like I was eating in a princess castle. Adults can even enjoy this place. The food and service were enjoyable. But the restaurant's playful environment is the cherry on top.

The experience here for a young girl is amazing. However, the bistro left something to be desired. It took us over an hour to get our food and of course when it arrived it was cold. The customer service here made up for the extreme wait on a non busy Saturday. Keep in mind you have to make hair appointments in person these are not able to be completed online. Overall a cool place but 2 stars were given due to the bistro

My daughter to run and play with the display toys get a feel for what I was shelling out for picked her doll and we went to the the little Bistro and made lunch reservations we had to wait over an hr but didn't mind it was Saturday and of course a slew of birthday parties were being held but they still made time and room for us and made sure my daughter didnt get any less attention then any other girl. It was our first visit and she was excited and thanking everyone. Was like going to Disney land without the travel time or price tag not even a week later and she's asked every day when we are going back. They know what to do to make sure your little ones have fun and that's all I needed

We were late for our reservation but we were still seated promptly. All of the staff members were exceptionally nice and courteous. We'll definitely return.

We went to the AG store in Alpharetta on Sunday, 11/13, for my daughter's birthday. We kept it a family event, so we did not have a party at the bistro. My daughters both played with some of the display dolls and accessories in the store. My daughter selected her doll and some accessories, and I carried both around the store for approximately 30 minutes before I was approached asking if I wanted a shopping bag, even though I walked past no fewer than 5 employees who were not otherwise occupied.
After shopping, we went to the bistro for our lunch reservation. We were seated promptly, and the service was fine in the bistro. The food, on the other hand, was sub-par for the amount we paid. As with most things in the AG store, you're paying for the name and the experience. I had the burger, and it was fine, not great but not terrible. My daughters both ordered the butterfly pasta, which was simply noodles on a plate, and the noodles were not warm nor buttered. My daughter, who was turning 4, didn't care and was just excited to be in the store, but if I'm paying $16.50 per plate, I expect a little more than cold plain noodles.
Overall, I was disappointed in the experience, but my daughter was thrilled, which is why I am giving it two stars.response / report this review -

I had a birthday party for my daughter this morning at the Alpharetta location.
I would say that it was OKAY .
The food was cold, they took a while to serve our table of 10. But my daughter had fun.
But what made me do this review was my overall experience during this and other 2 visits I made to the store this week.
Beside the party, I've spent a lot of money at the store buying 2 dolls, earrings, a backpack, outfit for the dolls and a dress for my daughter.
The service was bad. Not even close of what I expected to be. The experience should be amazing, outstanding. And it was not even close.
No smiles, my questions were answered coldly and rudely, sometimes and the line to check out was Ridiculous! Huge!
For many times I thought of leaving everything behind and get going!!
But, for the love I have for my daughter, I took many deep breaths and stayed.
And to complete my bad experience, I fell fooled today.
I know it my look small but adding to what happened before, I felt like an idiot for spending my hard made money there.
On AG website, when we look for information about the party packages on the Bistro , they say what is included on that.
They say , between other things, that there's a special gift for the birthday girl.
At the time I forgot to ask for it, but when we got home I realized that she didn't get anything different from the other girls, so I called to the number in the website to ask.
The lady said that the special gift for the birthday girl was a PAPER CROWN that they gave to her.
PLEASE!
A paper crown? Really?
For a $400. 1 hour party for cuple of girls?
It was NOT a good feeling.
I'm very disappointed.
By the way, all my guests bought the birthday gift at the store and ALL the moms made the same comment about the service.
Mr. Manager! Something is not right on your store.
Don't forget that you are dealing with the dreams of cute little girls.
