I was not very impressed with this store. The selection wasn't very good, the prices were a lot higher than you'd expect from the way they advertise, the condition of the building and the quality if the furniture. Also, the one couch I was remotely interested in would take thirty days to even get in and then I'd have to pay $69 to get it delivered three miles away!!! NO THANKS!!

I got my couch.however I suggest buyer beware - I had gotten a call on 11/17/17 saying my couch was ready for delivery - literally had to wait a full month to get my couch in stock I was quoted a $69 fee to have the couch delivered and my old couch removed for 11/18 for 3 pm because I was assuming I'd be home at 230..i came home early on 11/18/17 asking if I could have the couch delivered earlier.. and I was charged an extra $30 to have my couch removed and delivered because it was raining and the 3rd party driver didn't want to get rained on..buyer beware for weather conditions you can't handleI am definitely considering contacting the Better Business Bureau - I was charged extra just because it was raining!!..AGAIN BUYER BEWARE

Did not have the coffee table set I was interested in in-stock and said it would be 30 days to get it in even though another store North of Fort Wayne had 6 sets available. Wasn't terribly impressed with their desire to sell me some furniture.

The salesman are a bit pushy. They follow you around and if you show any interest in any item they tell you everything about that item so it's a little hard to really look around. But they do have some nice items. I got my table there and love it.

Very impersonal. They're interested more in the sale than in the person.

Well, time for another comment. After about 6 months with the furniture I bought from them, the arm of the sofa became loose. It was a living room set that cost about $800. Even had it delivered for an extra $80. I called them and their solution was for me to bring the piece back to them. Nice thought, but I had it delivered because by myself I couldn't get it to my house and because I have a back issue I couldn't have done it anyway. After explaining that, they still couldn't help me unless I brought the sofa to them. I ended up buying another set elsewhere. I took the sofa apart to find out what went wrong. Instead of being securely fastened to the frame, staples, 1" x 1" hardwood, and get this cardboard was used in securing the arm. That's what I spent $800 for six months of use and a retailer that was more interested in the bottom line than selling a quality product. Or even recommending one. I ended up buying a set of used This End Up furniture that I believe will last longer than I will. I didn't give them zero stars because they were willing to take care of me under a warranty, but not one that the average person could take advantage of.

The card board. Furniture and quality crap was. Below doll furniture. Quality. The sales guys only tell u what u want to hear. To make the sale they think the customers our stupid. And most everything had a good look but was junk and salvage like a car title. So look c it was junk

Just had lower back surgery and the furniture I have is old and uncomfortable. So my wife and I head to American Freight. We picked out an amazing living room set, but the recliner wasn't in stock but said they would get one from the nearest location in the next few days (That would be in Mishawaka 2 hours away). Be calling the last few days but been getting the run around and then finally was told it can be a month or so. Well, today, it looks like the family and I are going on a road trip to Mishawaka 2 hours away to pick up my recliner today. 4 hours wasted today and this is going to be a Vary Uncomfortable Ride.

The employee's are great and helpful,, it's the company it's self. You get the run around. Got our love seat and couch. Having to wait on our two oversized chairs now going on 1 month and 2 weeks and one chair is in and not the other.

Our initial experience with them was great. My husband and I went there to find a bed. We weren't pressured by sales people while we looked, but one was always on hand when we had a question. We found a sleigh bed we loved and had no trouble putting it on layaway. My husband picked it up and put it together at the end of October 2015. A couple months later, some of the support rods started to fall off. And then last night (it is July 2016), the side bar that connects to the headboard fell off completely, sheared right off. It seems to be made of compressed wood pulp instead of good wood. And the mattress we bought at the same time has a huge wrinkle (6 inches or so) in it that won't come out. My husband called and was told that the mattress will be warranteed if we email them pictures, but they don't warranty the bed because they usually have about 2 of that model fall apart each year. Each and every year. My husband insisted that something be done, and Larry said he'd see what he could do and call us back in a few hours. Over the phone the following day, he told us the bed didn't have a warranty and the most he could do was replace the rail. On a bed we don't trust anymore anyway. My husband called their corporate number, and we were told that they do offer a warranty on the bed, so I'm not sure who to believe at this point. And it will probably be a month or so before we hear anything about the mattress. So now we have to get a metal frame to reinforce the wooden one because we can no longer trust it. Their furniture looks nice and is inexpensively priced, but it also is not well made, and they will not help when the product fails unless you jump through a bunch of hoops and wait forever. I would love to give a more positive review, but we are pretty upset at this point.
