Food was Okay, not fine dining but not bad either. About what you would expect after walking it. Service was great and made the establishment like home.

Beware the shrimp skewer. The menu does not mention it is the spiciest item on the menu. I even asked for no pepper. The waitress said it's just season salt. It was not season salt. It was cajon salt that would win awards for the spiciest who-cares-about-your-acid-reflux seasoning they could possibly have used. And it gets hotter as the painful minutes roll by. The shrimp was also so overdone it was black. If you like these things, which many people do, then get the shrimp skewer. But those of you who don't care to be miserable for the next 3 days with severe heartburn and indigestion, beware! You will get no other warning.

Happened upon this place a couple months ago and was a great place!! Friendly staff & owner! Shared interesting history of restaurant & town.

We are regulars at Amelio's. We love the atmosphere and the wait staff. The food is excellent. I recommend the meatball sandwich with their homemade chips.

Great place to eat and relax. Hosts and hostesses were great people. Made you feel at home. And I recommend the lasagna it was great in the meatballs were wonderful

Wonderful old school on the river dining experience. The owners are wonderful and the waitstaff are very friendly they made you feel "right at home!" The special "swamp food" was very tasty & spicy with plenty to share with my wife since neither of us eats a lot anymore. The drink were wonderful but they did run out of the "Rivera Special." The margarita was very good after a hot early summer day. I'm looking forward to our second visit and to try some of the Italian meals.

Had a great first experience there! I grew up in Logansport, but had never been there to eat. When I was a kid, this was more of an adult hangout spot. It's got a family area now though! We got full with appetizers that were great, so looking forward to trying all the other great sounding items on their menu. Great Variety! Also, the owner Paul was great and chatted my wife and I up. Local treasure for sure!

The service was amazing, not a hyperbole. They were so sweet and we wanted for nothing! Amazing food and fantastic suggestions. Will definitely be coming back and suggesting it to anyone I know headed to Logansport.
