My place to go in the Colonies while the women go on a wine tasting spree. I really enjoy talking to the people who actually make the furniture here. What an amazing place. I could watch them work for hours. If a couple is young and could afford it invest, they could buy several pieces of furniture here over time and could pass it down for generations to come. Great place to visit and buy.
Very cool place. Beautiful furniture and clocks. Very expensive.
Beautiful hand made furniture and clocks that will last for generations. Reading some of the history of the shop further impressed me with how long they have been in business as well as their ideals of improving their community.
The Amana furniture store is a great place to go to see how they build the clocks and furniture how many other items actually. You can actually watch as the Carpenters work on the goods that they sell.
Expensive, but great staff and they have really nice furniture and clocks.
Beautiful furniture. Nice staff. Little to high prices for me but handcrafted in Iowa and beautiful, solid furniture. If I had the money I would buy half the store! Love love love!
We got there to late to watch them build their clocks. It was still very cool. We plan to make another trip with watching them build as a top priority.
Very expensive but very nice and we'll made furniture. Nice place to look around. Well worth a visit.
To my family and friends, Amana Furniture says the best. Handmade in Amana out of Walnut, Cherry, or Oak. The furniture is timeless and will last for generations. Very solid and made of solid wood- No pressed make believe wood. BEAUTIFUL
Such amazing craftsmanship! And friendly staff!
Beautiful furniture. Can even watch it being made at the shop!
Deep in the heart of Amana lives the furniture and clock shop. For anyone who's a fan of wood working and craftsmanship - this is your place. They have tons of furniture for every room of your house and then some for your second place!
The bedroom section is quite impressive with plenty of styles that range from very rustic (think cabin) to much more modern and everything in between. Same goes for kitchen tables, chairs, dining tables, etc.
The section with rockers and gliders is particularly impressive and I've fallen asleep with our little guys more than once while sitting in here!
The clocks are also very impressive - super intricate and a lot of fun to look at.
For those of us who don't have a couple grand to spend on furniture however, things like small clocks, cutting boards, piggy(ish) banks and name plates are all available for you, at much lower price points.
A fun store to come check every once in a while and someday, maybe an even more fun place to buy stuff from!
