I have been here for 4 years and have seen a lot of new improvements since new management has taken over. Staff is great and always ready to help. Very happy with the new changes.

The staff there goes above and beyond! Today I met with Bridgitte the leasing agent and she showed me the entire property along with 3 units that I can possible rent out for immediate move in. She was in no rush to get me out of the office and took her time to find me a unit I wanted. This community is well kept and I can really tell the staff cares about their residents.

I am so pleased with my apartment at Laguna Bay. I have a one bedroom on the ground floor with a gorgeous view of the lake. Modern appliances, quiet neighborhood, 2 pools, 2 Tennis courts with night lights, and my dog likes the dog area. Place is clean, management very responsive and the maintenance guys smile and wave. To me the price is no higher than anywhere else in Naples and I did a lot of checking. Trash is collected nightly, the place is very well lite at night, and everyone cleans up after their dog. I feel lucky to find this well located spot in the heart of Naples. My suggestion is move here if you need a new home.

Thank God there is new management. Gisele is one of the new girls working in the office there and I must say, she is amazing! Very knowledgeable of the units and very accommodating to what I was looking for. Her professionalism is exceptional.

Lived there for a year and a half, loved the old management, not the biggest fan of the new one. Emails are never responded to, phone is never answered, voice messages never replied to. I moved out mid-October and am waiting on a potential refund check, but funny how the management staff have gone completely MIA on me since I started probing. Other than that, maintenance guys are the best! Extremely timely, professional & some of the coolest guys ever.

The previous owners of the complex were pretty good if not great. If this review happened a few months ago I would've given this complex a 4-5 star rating. The news owners and management staff are terrible. Hurricane Irma swept through this location and the staff didn't clear the property till 5 days after, leaving residents trapped in their homes with all the debris blocking paths/units. The manager is very rude. Bursting into apartments without warning. Not talking to people kindly etc after the road was cleared, debris scattered everywhere after the hurricane for a week. They seemed to care more about their own money as they were trying to buy units instead of cleaning up and taking care of the units they already had. A fellow renter had received an eviction notice 3 days after being late for rent. I cannot recommend this property unless another change in ownership or management staff occurs.

Not a bad place to live, it's got a great location and for the most part, they seem to handle most things that you need. My only complaint is that when we moved in we had old carpet.

I live here. Which explains the visit. It's the center of everything. A little outdated, but my wife and I love it.

The Alvista / Laguna Bay staff are exceptional. I lived here for 3 years and am only moving because no 3 bedroom. Most recent maintenance issue was handeled so quickly and professionally. Also Ondrea and Lacey are very friendly to work with. Thank you Laguna Bay. Will miss our lake!!

Family and pet friendly neighborhood. It's not perfect, but I will say it has improved immensely in the 3 years I have lived there. The office staff responds to complaints and criticism by working hard to improve, and I think they deserve credit for that. This place feels like home, and while not perfect, I love my neighbors, the location, and that I can get help at any hour if I need it.

Not a bad place to live, it's got a great location and for the most part they seem to handle most things that you need. My only complaint is that when we moved in we had old carpet although cleaned, we are going on the end of our second year now and may re-up for a third and if we would have moved they would have 100% replaced the carpet by now and yet they refuse to replace it for us. Our rent keeps going up which I do understand we are right in the center of Naples but for someone who never complains and pays the rent on time replace my flooring so I can continue to take pride in my community. But I got away from the point that for an apartment complex it's really not too bad

WORST place I have EVER lived! I have pictures of this horrible one year period and quite a story. Tennis courts.HAHA! Cracks, major gaps in the courts. VERY OLD and NOT well maintained. When I moved in there were not even sprinklers in the apartment and sparks were coming out of the walls when you plugged something in! Check out the dryer hoses they use for drainage (which obviously doesn't work) and the lanai stays filthy dirty no matter how often you clean it. No pantry in the kitchen and my air conditioner did not work and the office did NOTHING about it until it completely died! Heaven forbid if you want internet in your apartmentgood luck with Comcast!!! The apartment is so old you would not believe what they had to do for me to use internet service and cell phones do not work on back part of the property! Disgusting place and ASK how they calculate the rent! I paid over $1300 a month and had to take a 13 month lease to get that low a rate! I have moved to Vero Beach into a BRAND NEW apartment with fiber optics and it is gorgeous! Great staff, warm and friendly who actually do return your phone calls and try to help with any issues. GOOD LUCK if you rent. I never had allergies until I moved there and guess what? They disappeared after I moved!

I have not written a review of a facility or service previously, however with the service provided by the personnel employed by Alvista, Laguna Bay . Apartments, Naples, Florida, I feel that this is now appropriate. My wife and I have resided at Laguna Bay for approximately 3 years. We have seen good and bad tenants come and go. Although there will always be some less than desirable tenants sneak through the vetting procedure, it is how the administrative staff rectifies the issue that counts. The staff has consistently insured that tenant problems are resolved in a most timely basis. This is true even if the problem is one of asking a bad tenant to vacate. Believe me, my wife and I are not the only residents who appreciate this action. We have found they also react with the same demeanor regarding something as insignificant as a stove light replacement. This review of the administrative staff applies to all personnel currently employed.
I would further like to add a laudatory review of the maintenance staff, and in particular, Wilbert Frederick. Wilbert has always gone beyond the call of duty when attending to any issues we may have in the apartment.
Overall, I would highly recommend this community to all responsible people relocating to Naples, Florida.

My family and I have lived at Laguna Bay for a little over 3 years. We very much enjoy the neighborhood and its location, as well as the frequent community activities hosted by the office, pet park, gym, ample parking, and trash valet service. The property is clean and well-maintained, and quiet. It is one of the best experiences I've had living in an apartment complex, with two exceptions: the excessive rent increases, and the semi-helpful office staff.

When we moved here in 2013, the rent for our 2 bed/2 bath apartment was $1094. The following year, the property was purchased by a new management company (Alvista) who opted not to offer 12-month leases, therefore we had to renew twice that year. Both times we incurred an increase in rent, and by 2015 we were paying $1288 per month. In 2016, it was increased to $1444. Given that the cost of living goes up by only 4% each year, I find a 12-17% increase in rent to be extreme.

Now, if we were living in a luxury apartment, my feelings would be different. However, there are many issues with our unit that depreciate its value, such as our shabby and outdated shag carpeting, which is falling apart. Also, the paint on our lanai floor has chipped off in several areas; 2 of our lanai screens needs have large holes in them, courtesy of nighttime critters; one of our kitchen cabinet doors is broken; the front "steel" panel on the microwave lifts off; our living room ceiling fan no longer works; the bottom of the refrigerator falls off occasionally; among other things. Some of these we have requested work orders for multiple times, and yet they remain as is. The minor ones (like the piece on the fridge), we repair ourselves as needed. I will say, they are usually good about fixing major problems (like the time our garbage disposal broke from corrosion and flooded our kitchen; or the 6-7 times our AC has broken).

As for the staff, as I said previously, the office employees are semi-helpful (some more than others). I've never gotten the impression that they care much about the residents. They seem to lack compassion, which is sad because as renters, these are the people we have to turn to and rely on when something goes wrong in our home. (We can't call in our own AC repair man, or plumber, or exterminator, etc.) Trying to get something accomplished when the person you're reporting to is uninterested, is like trying to work with a car salesman after he's sold you a lemon.

The maintenance staff is amazing, however! Super nice, hard-working guys.

All in all, the pros of our experience have outweighed the cons, and providing we can afford to when they increase our rent next year, we will likely be staying a while longer. Hopefully, the issues we have with/in our apartment will be resolved at some point.
