When someone says a place is 'quaint,' to me that is code for 'small.' Yes the rooms are tiny, but they are cozy, owners are nice, perfect, perfect location - Small, very good brewery across the street, 5 minute walk to center of village. Nice flower gardens/gazebo to sit and eat/drink. Great spot

Room was very nice, but very small. For a place that's dog friendly, they sure do hate if your dog barks for any reason or if you turn up the volume on your TV, but the room was affordable and available.

Its not the Ritz nor is it trying to be. Its clean and dog friendly and central to downtown. The staff are nice and friendly.

Riding down the Blue Ridge Parkway via motorcycle can really wear a person out. I happened to hop off in Blowing Rock and decided to spend the evening. I found the Alpine Village Inn, thanks to Google, and called and asked for a vacancy. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with smiles and a warm welcome, and even some motorcycle talk. From the outside, the Inn has a cozy look with rocking chairs outside each door. Coming into the room, I was greeted with a clean bedspread, and a very nicely decorated room. After settling, the owners pointed me toward downtown for a bite to eat. After a good meal, I was ready for some rest. I climbed into the comfortable bed with the softest sheets I've ever experienced and slept like a rock. It was quiet and dark. In the morning, getting ready for a shower, I noticed the neat pocket door in the wall for the bathroom. There is even a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave in my room! I'll definitely be back, not just to stay, but to see the owners again, as they are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you're out on a motorcycle adventure, or any other reason you might need a home away from home. The Alpine Village Inn is the place to stay.

What a hidden gem in the area! A great little get away with much coziness and charm. The added extras make it feel like home. The cleanest room we have ever stayed in plus the linens and towels are only the finest. Our king bed slept so wellI miss it already! This is going to become our little get away from now on. Amazing is what it is. Gina And Stuart.
