I've gone to Roy for over 20 years and I will cry my eyeballs out when he retires. I always get compliments on my hair!!
I went here last week to get my hair done. First of all, she charged me over $100 to add only highlights to my roots. I was trying to get a totally different look, but the color is exactly the same. She said it would be a process and I understand that, but there should at least be some difference. Not only that, but she cut my hair a lot shorter than I wanted and messed up my layers. They are super choppy and look horrible. I am going to have to cut my hair shorter to fix the horrible cut she did!
The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were very polite and helpful.
I have used Allure Salon for years. The staff is awesome and I am always able to get an appointment when I need it without having to wait a long time. Wendy is one of the best stylists I've ever used. She is quick, efficient and friendly. I have never left there not happy with my cut and color. Plus they're line of Bare Minerals keeps me from a mall trip. Thanks ladies!
Gave my mother and grandmother a spa day to the salon, including manicure. The manicurist was so poorly skilled that she cut my grandmother's cuticles causing bleeding on THREE different fingers. She was running out of top coat polish so she thinned it out with ACETONE and then applied it--their polish never actually dried and had melted off by the end of the day. My mom's nails had been buffed down to the quick and have been crumbling and peeling off for WEEKS since the manicures. My mom tried to contact the salon on 4 different occasions to let them know of this disaster and they couldn't care less. Don't ever go here for a manicure.
The staff at Allure Salon and Spa are amazing. They all work well together. All the staff are new. The comments you read on here are dated. Massage lady is amazing, we rock at facials, manicures and pedicures amazing, and the stylist taking new clients you just have to come see for yourself. Come see this great Staff.
Every time I go there I have to see someone different to cut my hair which means it's not even a good place for the employees to work apparently. This most recent time I asked where the last stylist went so I could for once stick with the same stylist and the receptionist, Brittany, tried to withhold the information and got very rude with me on the phone. Before trying to locate the last stylist elsewhere, I had made an appointment with yet another stylist at Allure which I wanted to keep unless I was able to locate the most recent stylist, but Brittany decided to cancel my appointment without my knowledge or consent so after waiting nearly 3 weeks I was unable to get in since my appointment was taken out of the system. I only found this out by calling the store since I never got my day-before-confirmation call. Then, Brandi said she would possibly get me in with another new stylist while offering a discount for my troubles. She was going to call me back "in 5 minutes" which never happened. I can understand a salon not wanting to provide the information as to where their stylists go when they leave to continue receiving business, but how do they know I wouldn't still come there for other services they offer? Horrible customer service!
