  A couple reasons I do not shop at Big Box Stores and take my business to Allendale True Value Hardware First;
  Customer Service. Whenever I walk in I'm greeted with a friendly smile. Most of the staff knows me after only a few visits and is always eager to help.
  Knowledge. I ways get the answers to my questions from staff that know their stuff. I've even gotten suggestions of better ways to do things I thought I had down.
  Staff. They want to work there and it shows. Unlike most Big Box locations, where it's nearly impossible to find help, Allendale True Value is well staffed and its always easy to find the help you need.
  Service. I recently brought my Husqvarna Snow Thrower in for service. Know that this was in the beginning of the season here in Michigan so I know they very busy. They had the parts in stock (I thought they needed to be ordered for sure) and had it back to me in a few days. Now I certainly can't expect them to have every repair out that fast but they certainly exceeded all of my expectations.

  The staff makes this place worth paying a little bit more for products. They are always knowledgeable and willing to help. I've taken a few of my small engine tools in for assistance and they've always helped get things working again and/or guided me to the right parts. This isn't as common in big box stores and worthy of acknowledging as a consumer.

  I've never had such a positive experience at a hardware store!! This was my first time at TrueValue in Allendale, MI, and it definitely will not be my last. Every time I came out into the center aisle there was a kind and friendly customer service retail worker to assist me with any questions or concerns that I might have. They were knowledgeable and went the extra mile to accommodate my shopping needs. This will not be the last time that I shop at TrueValue!! I absolutely loved the experience there and I will recommend this hardware store over the Ace hardware store any day!!

  A hardware store with bankers hours. Prices are high. When something goes bad at home most likely they wont have it or it will be closed. Save yourself some grief and head to home Depot.

  Customer service at the Allendale True Value was awesome. The store is full of smiles. All the times I've been into the store, they have always had what I was looking for. Also am very impressed at how much True Value is involved with the community.

  Allendale True Value is amazing! The staff is all super friendly and incredible, especially the paint department staff!!! I highly recommend them and look forward to my next visit!

  Have shopped here since I was little with my parents and I still see the family coming in and supporting the store. Employees know us by name, are extremely helpful and knowledgable, and are at the ready with a smile. Would highly recommend the visit.
