I am extremely pleased with my experience with Dr. Ramirez! I had the sleeve done about 9 month's ago with a different doctor and I developed severe acid reflux, medications did not help! I chose Dr. Ramirez to do my revision to bypass and I couldn't be more happier, my acid reflux is completely gone and my quality of life is so much better now! Dr. Ramirez was God sent and I am very thankful and grateful to have him as my bariatric surgeon! He has the best bedside manner I have ever experienced, he's just an overall great doctor, he listens to you and address any concerns that you may have! I highly recommend Dr. Ramirez!

Recently I was diagnosed with a small bowel obstruction due to a hernia and in need of surgery. Dr. Ramirez was highly recommended and even though it was a drive to Tallahassee for me, I am so thankful I chose him for my surgeon. I was treated so well by his staff and they were very helpful to schedule my surgery as soon as possible. Dr. Ramirez’ excellence in his profession provided me with a great outcome and recovery has been swift.

Dr. Ramirez and his staff took care of my mother in a very surgically complicated case. Instead of taking the surgically “easy” route for fixing my mother’s issue, he took the extra time to correct her issue that would allow for improved recovery times and less pain.
Dr. Ramirez cares about his patients and their outcomes, and it is reflected in his care and time spent with the patients and their families.
💯% would recommend Dr. Ramirez to anyone that needs laparoscopic, bariatric, or any general surgery repair.response / report this review -

Dr. Ramirez and his staff are THE BEST in Tallahassee and beyond. His expertise and skills are unsurpassed. His bedside manner is PERFECT. He truly cares about the well-being of his patients and empathizes on such a personal level with each patient. I had gastric sleeve surgery on August 8. Surgery went so very well and the aftercare from Dr. Ramirez is just as amazing as before surgery!

The staff at this office is amazing. The level of professionalism and communication that I experienced was top notch. Dr. Ramirez sees a lot of patients everyday, however when he came to see me he made me feel as if I was the only patient he was concerned with that day. He is highly skilled and I would trust him with any condition that required his attention, truly a wonderful doctor and a superb staff.

I visited Tallahassee for business, when I suffered small bowel obstruction. Dr. Ramirez performed surgery before Friday morning. He allowed me to leave the hospital Saturday afternoon and to fly back to my home country Sunday morning ! Thank you, Dr. Ramirez.

Dr. Ramirez was an answer to prayer! His laparoscopic competence and experience was exactly what my delicate procedure needed. My recovery has been very smooth and I attribute it to his skill at using the least invasive procedure possible. Thank you to Dr. Ramirez and your staff for taking such good care of me.

My husband is a walking miracle because of Dr. Ramirez. He did not give up on us when other doctors told us he would not survive. Not only is he a great doctor but his heart is with his patients he even cancelled a trip to stay with us to finish the surgery. We love him so much. He will be the go-to doctor for us anytime we need his medical procedures. He also comes to visit us in the rehab when he doesn't have to.

Great surgeon when my appendix ruptured and needed to be taken out. His follow ups were excellent and timely. Extremely friendly and approachable. I felt as though I could ask any questions and that I was in good hands. I will be sure he takes care of any friends and family should they need any type of general surgical procedures.

I had a gastric sleeve done in October 2015 by Dr. Ramirez. He is a wonderful and caring doctor. He made me feel very comfortable. Was very thorough when explaining the procedure and what I should expect to feel. I have lost 70lbs so far in my journey. I am still planning on losing another 100lbs and I feel like I have Dr. Ramirez in my corner cheering me on throughout this journey.
