  I will never go to a different nail salon again! I LOVE it here. I used to go to Anthony Vice but they are $$$ and kept breaking my nails. Here at Alderwood Nails they are super careful and pay attention to details. I’ve literally never had more perfect nails in my entire life.

  I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews of this place! I’ve been going here since I moved to Lynnwood (about nine years, I go about once a month during the summer season and once a season for fall winter and spring) and these ladies are the sweetest!
  
  Just today I got a pedicure, and again very sweet and attentive ladies. They do suggest you upgrading to shellac or gel or getting a deluxe mani pedi, and if you don’t want it you can easily say no and they go with the flow (it’s part of their job to ask). I do typically come here for a pedicure, but have gotten other things as well (deluxe mani pedis, shellac and gel etc).
  
  They do a wonderful job! Sometimes they are talkative, but they’re just having fun! I will continue coming here as they treat me with kindness and warmth every time I come. They remember my twin boys and little details about me as well. These ladies are literally the best at what they do!

  I would say run. These guys are thief's. I husband got me 2 gift certificates for $50 each. I got delayed in using them because I had a unplanned major back surgery. I finally was able to use them, went in had the pedicure and when time to gave them the gift certificates, they said they wouldn't take them that they were expired. When I looked closely indeed they had expired, explained what had happened and they said they didn't care. I feel they are thieves and a total RIP off. I am actually looking into taking legal action. Update: I went in to get my refund and yet again was told owner not there come back next week. In the response from the owner, she said she had new people working, yet today was told by workers they have been there 2 years. Something is fishy. I ended up with 2 gift certificates that was to replace the ones I had. Not sure if that was wise but we will see if they will honor them when the time comes. Still out $100 that I had to pay.

  Really disappointed in my nails. Asked for gel and confirmed that I wanted shellac, was given gel that peeled within a day. I’m a very busy person so unable to get my nails done very often, also postpartum and was looking forward to feeling like myself again. My manicure didn’t even last a week. Only reason I might go back is because I have a gift certificate to use up, but not looking forward to it. Also, staff was very loud and talking around me like I wasn’t there. I was the only customer because I came in shortly after they opened, and did not feel welcomed at all.
  
  Shape and color was great, cuticle care as well. Also appreciated the neck/shoulder massage while my nails cured. Just disappointed it didn’t last and feeling like I wasn’t welcomed.

  I have been here several times over the past few years and have had nothing but good experiences. Sometimes they are overbooked, but I feel they are worth the wait! Always polite. They do a good job. They are a little bit pricey - the cost for a regular manicure has increased since the last time I visited (1yr ago). They do a warm towel wrap and a mini shoulder massage while they wait for your nails to dry, so I am more than willing to pay the extra cost!
