  Awful service, they don't bother staffing the counter until 3hr before the flight departs, and I was repeatedly lied to and told that adjustments would be made so that there would not be a third person in my row, which did not happen. Avoid this airline if you're departing from PHL.

  Do not fly Alaska out of PHL if you can avoid it. They don't staff their desk until later in the afternoon, so passengers have to wait in the check-in lobby with luggage, which is pretty frustrating.

  This was my first time flying with this airline and it was good. The only downside was that my returning flight was canceled due to crew fatigue, however, Alaska Airlines was very willing to help me and had me on another flight with a different airline the next day. Besides that, the staff members are friendly, prices were nice, and I would fly with them again.
  
  Two suggestions to you Alaska Airlines:
  1. For longer flights, maybe have a reserve crew?
  2. Maybe offer lodging at a nearby hotel or airbnb, something of the sort. It's not comfortable being in an airport overnight(in my case) and for others who couldn't get a flight until 2-3 days later.

  Choose another airline if you plan to travel to the west coast. Alaska Airlines provides an excellent service along the west coast, but not if traveling from Philadelphia. Avoid if you are expecting the usual full service.
