My wife and I both ordered steaks, both of them were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.

We waited for about 5 minutes upon arrival for someone to greet and seat us. The manger sat us without apologizing for the wait when there was no one else in front of us. She took us back to a corner which was private from the other guests that were there- which we did not ask for but thought it could be nice. However it was extremely cold, to the point I had to keep my heavy jacket and hood on. We ordered the fried green beans appetizer which were a good size portion but had no flavor whatsoever. We decided to order the half slab of ribs with a ceasar salad and fries to share. The waiter did not come back and check on us often, we spent the majority of the meal with empty drink glasses. We ordered the ribs and were hopeful that they and the sides would make up for all that we had experienced thusfar. Unfortunately, we waited quite a while and the ribs had no flavor except for the BBQ that was on the very top and they were very fatty. The fries were hot but got cold very fast and became chewy, in addition the baked beans were cold and bland with a film over the top. At this point the waiter had refilled our drinks once and I had experienced enough. We asked for the manager who happened to be the lady who originally sat us. After explaining to her our experience and why we were dissatisfied she apologized all over herself saying they usually were not this busy, this corner was always cold, they turned up the heat, they didn't have anywhere else to seat us etc. (They weren't that busy!!) I explained that we both have worked in food and understand things happen that are out of her control, but for the quality and cost of this restaurant we had held much higher expectations and would not be returning, ever.

Had the barbecubano sandwich (bbq pulled pork cuban). It was very juicy and very tasty. I also had the brussel sprouts, which were cooked very well, not rubbery. Nice atmosphere

Always excellent food! We have eaten here about twice a month for the last eight teen months and have never had a bad meal. Prime rib, steaks, pork chops - all excellent! The baked potatoes are fluffy and the vegetables are fresh, not canned. Can't wait for Brussels sprouts to return! We've not had the desserts (there's never room), but I bet they're delicious, too! The servers are well-trained - always knowledgeable, attentive and friendly.

It's a Motel6, so definitely budget motel. But it was very clean, had good beds, and no extra charge for our dog. Limited outlets and no hair dryer (but they would bring one if you needed). Microwave and refrig but no coffee pot. Right next to McDonalds tho.

As always a great dining experience, from the drinks, to the food to the service, all 5 star! Steaks, prime rib all excellent. I enjoy the bull bites and hen pecks as well.

The place could use a good cleaning (heavy dust in windows, dirty glass, .. BUTwhoever grilled the T-bone to tonight would probably get two thumbs up from Gordon Ramsey as well as me! Sydney was my server and a real delight. Nice casual ambiance, bar, dining on 3 levels. Mattoon needs a place like this!

Dinner rolls were hard and cold. The steak had no flavor and had so much gristle. I should have known when the menu said let us flavor your steak for $2.99. I love steak but that was by far the worst steak I have ever had. My husband who is not hard to please agreed. I dont mind paying good money for a good steak but this was truly a waste of $40.00. Should have went to the Taco Bell right next to it. Food would have been better and less expensive. Waste of money and totally flavorless food. Would never recommend this place
