  It is very expensive to purchase liquor. The security and bouncers are very rude and use force/touch you when they shouldn't. Most of the people that work there should get fired. I've seen a lot of people getting pushed or getting denied entrance if they step out of the bar. THEY USE MORE FORCE THEN NEEDED. Avoid this bar if possible.

  One of the security guys and a bouncer forced a friend of mine to chug his drink and put his hands on both of us at closing time. I think they need to do something about the staff in there because is very irresponsible from them to keep selling alcohol if they are close to closing time and later force you to chug your drink, put their hands on you(which they have no right to if you haven't touch them at any point ) and push you out the door. This people should be fired and I'm going to make sure they do. This happened Saturday nigh 5/20/17 oh and needles to say we asked for their names and ID numbers which they denied to us but I remember both of them, white males, about 6 ft tall one of them had a beard (I believe he was security )

  It's nice to have a dance club in Champaign, but Soma can be a bit loud and crowded sometimes, particularly because the dance floor is actually pretty small. They do have a nice selection of alcohol (like some nice whiskeys) which are sometimes missing at other bars.

  It's small, but so is Champaign. They charged me $30 for a shot. Ridiculous. Whaaaat? GTFOH.
