Wanted to get some hair removed. Had various worries because a lot of these places give a "predominantly female glorified beauty spa" vibe, and I am very much male with very thick, stubborn hair in some undesirable places, so I expected stigma and inadequate tooling. Turns out none of that matters to the laser, nor to the technicians at ASLC. This was all quite straightforward and not even awkward. I felt very welcome the whole time, and the results are looking good so far. The treatment is relatively expensive, but no matter what you are after, there's a $10K ceiling, as they offer an unlimited one-year package.

Thank you for such wonderful service throughout the years.
I trust Dr.Barad with my face and eyes explicitly. I had cataract surgery which has been a game changer and professionally done. I have also had skin care treatments from her staff at Aesthetic Skin & Laser. I believe in non-surgical treatments and they have the best choices and equipment and know what they are doing. Doctor Barad is an opthamologist and has the hands of an artist and training of the best. You get a lot of skill in every treatment, she does what most places leave to their staff. Staff is great also and warm and friendly.Very accessible

I was willing to drive two hours to this location for a procedure that is not done in my area. I called the office twice to ask a few questions in hopes of setting up an appointment. Both times I was told that they would call me right back, but I never got a phone call both times. I waited for three days and nothing.

I have been having laser hair removal treatments for close to twenty years. I am so glad that I have found Shana at ASLC. They have a new laser, the Clarity II, which is the best laser for hair removal I have ever experienced. The lasers from even just last year don't compare this new one! Erin and Mary at the front desk are always so kind and helpful. This is a great practice and I am so glad that I started coming here. Thank you!

I want to say thank you to all the ladies at Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center. Initially I was incredibly nervous going in, asking myself every question, and trying to talk myself out of doing it. The technician sat down with me and answered all my questions until I relaxed. We then went into the examination room. In the first session, I did undress with the technician in the room, however, I explained at the next session that I was not comfortable doing that, and from that point forward, a robe would be on the table waiting for me as the technician would leave the room and come back a few minutes later. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable each time I came to my appointment. I am pleased with the results of my sessions and happy that I got over the fear of going. Now I am looking for something else for them to fix!

First, I would like to thank Galdermia and Dr. Barad for giving me the opportunity to be part of this life changing experience. Since my injections, my self confidence has improved so much.

When I was 8yrs old, I was involved in a motorcycle accident that caused significant damage, including tissue loss and nerve injury. At 42, I had premature sagging and lines around my eyes and between my eyebrows. People would always ask me, "Are you mad," or "What's wrong?" My facial expressions always appeared as though I was frowning. After my injections, people comment, "Have you been on vacation," "You look so calm." I would recommend Dr B for anyone's injections. She was professional and the injections were a breeze

I have had complicated skin for years. Bad acne on my face, back, and chest. After years of different medications and therapies I was left with deep pit scaring and dark skin pigmentation. That's when I meet Shana, the lead aesthetician at The Asesthetic
Skin & Laser Center. After telling her what my goals and concerns were, she designed a regimen that made sense; a rotation of chemical peels and laser treatments over 3 months. She also designed a very easy at home routine for me to follow. Shana also introduced me to Dr. Barad when I was ready to tackle my acne scars and contouring with Galderma products, Restylane Refyne and Restylane Defyne.
My skin is literally perfect and I’m beyond happy with my results. Thank you so much for making me feel more confidant in my own skin.😘😘😘😂

I think Dr Barad at The Aesthetic Skin and Laser center is so incredibly talented!!!! I have the utmost confidence in her highly skilled Ophthalmic surgical hands, to evaluate your needs and then actualize, without surgery, to promote a continued youthful appearance! She is able to use fillers such as Voluma, and Juvederm, and wrinkle erasers such as Botox to keep you looking young! Dr Barad knows the correct amount to utilize to give a natural appearance, not fake and overdone! It is you, only better!
Her staff is wonderfully attentive to your individual needs and I can't say enough good things about this Practice!

I had been following several skin centers in Pittsburgh for the past year, and have even had consultations at a few of them. I was quite nervous, as this was my first time with any type of cosmetic procedure, and I wanted to do my research! My consultation with Dr. Barad was the first time I wasn’t feeling nervous. Her facilities are top-notch (and I’ve seen quite a few) and her receptionist is great—she knew exactly who I was and what I was there for (I usually got the, “wait, who? At what time?” So that was much appreciated! Thank you!) I was right on time and so were they—I’ve never been in the waiting room in excess of 3-5 minutes.

Dr. Barad’s qualifications speak for themselves and her bedside manner put me at ease—enough so that I was comfortable moving forward with the procedure that day. I’m obviously very happy with the results, and am looking forward to returning for a new skin care regiment. Dr. Barad was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. She was able to identify skin issues that dermatologists couldn’t even answer for me. I never felt rushed or pressured to move forward…the entire atmosphere made me feel comfortable and confident.

I've been a patient of Dr. Roxana Barad for more than 10 years. She is intelligent, well-qualified, and exceptionally talented. I both respect and trust Dr Barad. Her insight and judgement are excellent. Plus, she's a practicing ophthalmologist, and eye safety is essential to her.

Dr. Barad is polite and professional. She doesn't do much chit chatting in the treatment room. Rather, she's intensely concentrating on your face/skin along with with specialized photos of your face/skin. She reminds me of a professional tennis player going through the mental process of visualizing each step in the serve before executing the game winning ace. And I've only seen her serve aces. She simply won't do a treatment that would yield an unsuccessful or harmful outcome, no matter how much a patient wants it or would pay for it.

Her staff, place, and facilities are all great, great, great. Actually, the staff are super great.

I had a wonderful experience at the Aesthetic Skin and Laser Center. I had slim liposuction on my abdomen and flanks. Dr. Barad did an excellent job and I couldn't be happier with the results. The staff was professional and friendly. Rosemary performed viora skin tightening after my slim liposuction and did an excellent job. She is very knowledgable and personable, I would highly recommend her. This is a great skin and laser center.
