I ordered a fruit basket as a gift for someone very dear to me. I have never ordered from Jim Ludwigs before so I was a little nervous after a recent bad experience with a nationwide florist.
I have to say that I was more than impressed with the basket my family member received. It was absolutely filled with all types of wonderful items and was gorgeously presented.
With living out of town but wanting to send gifts to family and friends, I’m so very happy I have found Blumengartens.

WOW!!! Talk about great customer service. Everyone knew me by name and they quickly completed my order after I called and asked if it happened to be completed because I was in the area sooner than expected. The arrangement is GORGEOUS AND A GREAT VALUE.

Extremely polite. Called to order hospital flowers for my girlfriend on Valentine’s weekend no less, and they took great care of me! I’m in Texas and she’s in Pittsburgh for surgery, which has been difficult on us. I was able to order get well and A separate Valentine’s arrangement over the phone with such ease. The arrangement was stunning. The flowers alone were a great price for what you are getting but it was the above and beyond customer service that had me so impressed. I am from out of town and was having flowers sent to a friend’s parents on the anniversary of her passing. I had an outdated address and they had moved out of their delivery area. The florist made multiple calls to me and the house that they were delivered to to get the flowers to the right place. I am so grateful for their effort and the beautiful arrangement they made. I hope they know how much it meant to all of us

I would like to say that Tim was fantastic today I sent flowers to a hospital and my friend had already checked out without my knowledge. Tim picked the flowers up and was so accommodating and understanding, this kind of customer service is rare today!

I am a very happy international customer.

I ordered the Pretty in Pink bouquet for my friend's PhD thesis defense in CMU. The online website was easy to navigate, I received a confirmation right away, and when I asked additional questions via email, those are promptly answered. The delivery cost was very reasonable given that they had to find a specific office inside an university, and actually called me to clarify the address. The timing of the delivery was perfect and exactly in the 1:30-3pm delivery time window as mentioned. Very good customer service all around for an internet order.

My friend was blown away by the beautiful bouquet. She loved the flowers and as amazed this delivery was possible!

I cannot comment on the comparative value of this florist compared to others given I'm international, but this entire experience is as good as it gets. I would highly recommend this florist.

Sherry was very easy to work with, even though I planned my Pittsburgh wedding from afar. After a quick call and emailing a few photos of what I wanted, she understood my style, budget, and goals. When I confessed my lack of knowledge on all things floral, she took the lead and made some suggestions, patiently. She put together an estimate and description of what she'd do for us incredibly quickly. When I was later able to come into town and swing by in person, Sherry met with me to update my proposal and work in some of the flowers I preferred. She was very knowledgeable about what works and what doesn't, logistically speaking, for flowers.

Delivery went off without a hitch, even earlier than we expected. My bouquet was gorgeous and the bulk flowers I bought for centerpieces worked out perfectly. The only glitch was that I requested wrist corsages for the mothers and pin-ons for the grandmothers. I received all wrist ones, but we solved that in just a few minutes by cutting off the elastic and using a safety pin. Voila, problem solved and no one was the wiser. The price was right, and I'd certainly work with Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten again.

I cannot express enough how thankful I am to Blumengarten. We ordered a new baby gift to be delivered to West Penn. At the end of the business day, I got word that the mother was being released the next morning. I called the florist in a panic. I was assured they would call the hospital in the morning and either deliver the flowers to the mother or ask permission to leave the flowers at the NICU with the babies. At 9 am the next morning I received a text from the mother explaining how beautiful the arrangement was. The friendly staff went above and beyond to get our arrangement there before she left. It was an amazing experience.

My granddaughter is in Children's Hospital. I called this shop about 12:15 pm when I learned she would be there another night. I express my concern that she may be in the hospital tonight and possibly another night but wasn't sure. I was afraid if she went home tomorrow, the flowers might miss her. The kind and thoughtful lady who helped me said she would try to get it on the truck today, but it was leaving shortly. An hour later, my daughter called to say the flowers arrived. I'm truly amazed at this wonderful service. I'm so glad I personally called this shop since I live clear in VA. I will definitely sing the praises of this shop. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Our family came in town for my son's wedding early so we could have a special dinner in honor of my mom's 90th birthday. We are a large group and it was going to require several arrangements. I have a sister who is talented in this area and we wanted to order our own flowers. We were so pleased with Blumengarten as Jim knew exactly what we wanted and was able to make a bulk order for us. They went above and beyond to make sure our order was just right, ordering the lilies early and leaving them out a couple of days so that they would open just in time. They made sure the roses were the right color and everything was perfect. I can't say enough good things about them - the price was reasonable, the flowers were fantastic and lasted (they were even able to use them to augment at the wedding), and the people could not have been nicer. With a son and daughter-in-law in town, I know where I will also go for flowers in the future. Thank you so very much for making our celebrations special!!!

I had my wedding at the National Aviary recently and I can't say enough how wonderful they were all to work with. Not only were they able to recreate my vision perfectly, but them man who came to deliver the day of the wedding was extremely helpful in making sure all was as it should be. I would always recommend this florist!
