I was seeing a dermatologist for 3 months in regards to my eczema flare-up. He did nothing for me despite my major concern. I was in a wedding over the summer and did not want me skin to look bad. With just one visit to Advanced Dermatology I was prescribe the correct medication and my skin COMPLETELY cleared up with 1 week! I will NEVER go to another dermatologist again!.. Thank you Advanced Dermatology!

The good and the bad - The doctors were excellent but the office is much to small and half the patients are without seats. I had surgery and my visit was 6 hours and I stood for 3 hours. Patients in their 70's and 80's with walkers could not find seats. Hard to believe but true 9/25/17.

Had a wonderful experience. Dr. Friedler was very thorough in her examination. She was extremely professional and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend her and plan to revisit for my yearly checkups.

My advice: Don't try to get a job here. I was abruptly let go from a driving job except nobody wanted to use the word "fired". They told me not to come in each following day, then told me that they wanted me to work at the corporate officed in New Hyde Park. I was relieved, because that implied I still had a job there. They had me do an interview with the hiring manager for billing. She told me she wouldn't have an answer for me as to whether or not I was hired. And, well, I wasn't, two weeks later. I even asked them "are you sure it wasn't anything I did wrong", and they said "no" the first time. It was only after asking multiple times (because their story didn't add up) that they admitted that it was related to my job performance, which makes me think it wasn't that at all.

I was supposed to be a driver for this job. The guy supervising me claims I made him "nervous". By the way, I was supposed to be replacing this gentleman because he got kicked off of the driver insurance after losing his job. I think there was a different reason why they didn't want to hire me, that they don't want to tell me. It would have been one thing if their reason for letting me go was that they had such a standard of perfection that I could not match, but their standards in particular don't seem to preclude getting into multiple accidents and getting numerous traffic violations. But apparently I, someone with a clean drivers license, and got into absolutely NO accidents with their vehicle, did something so wrong, that they couldn't give me more of a chance to drive for more than 2 days.

This is not a review of their ability to perform work as a dermatologist. But I had to let this be known. If you have any prior commitments to employers, my advice to you is this: don't abandon them if you think you're going to get a job here. No matter they seem to admire your work ethic and your ability to do the job, they'll let you go abruptly with no warning.

I visited Dr. Fox at his office, Advanced Dermatology in Freshmeadows, and I had a very positive experience. I came in and was seen right away. The staff was warm, courteous, and friendly. I had a mole removed from my neck and a another from my face. I was very concerned and worried about the mole on my face being removed but to my delight it healed beautifully. I recommend Dr. Fox for his great work.

Christina Smitley is absolutely the most terrific medical professional I have EVER had the good fortune to receive services from. She know her business, has a great sense of humor and puts you at ease. Even when she's "puffing" liquid Nitrogen on your face. BTW the temperature of liquid Nitrogen is -321 Deg F. Ouch!! But she somehow makes it a pleasant experience. Can't ask for more!!

This place is horrendous. They have you on hold for an extended period of time. Only to tell you to call back. Forget about trying to get refills. I seriously dislike the staff. Rude and beyond unprofessional. I've been a patient of Dr. Susan Freidler for a number of years. Not a fan of hers. But I come in and get my rxs. And get out!

Dr. Fox is great. I have been going to him for the past year now for Botox injections in my hands for hyperhidrosis. He was always friendly and did my injections as quickly and as painless as possible. Although it was painful and lasts only a few months, it was worth it to have sweat-free hands.

over books appointments. over prescribes drugs, recommends drugs for symptoms I don't even have or mention. I question their motives, especially when I constantly see drug brand reps hanging out with the doctors there laughing away while we wait over an hour to see them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT COMING HERE.

After see what people had to say about the staff being rude, I had a different experience. Everyone was pleasant. I was greeted with a hello and the front desk reception was even cracking jokes. However, it hard to get through to anyone over the phones. I always get their answering service. Now on the other hand, Dr. Friedler Suzanne was very rude. She rushed through my examination. It was to the point where she just exit out the room so fast without saying nice to meet you or do you have any questions. Her intern was very helpful.
