DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! These are the most rude employees i have encountered literally ever. I went yesterday thinking maybe they have gotten ahold of themselves, but when i walked in they just stared at me like i was an alien and chatted among themselves and with another girl that didn’t even work there that clearly stopped by to visit and talk. When i went back to the plumbing department, there were two men there that knew i was looking for something and clearly needed help, but they also chatted among themselves and continued to ignorem me and i’m pretty sure one of them was on their phone. When i checked out, my cashier (i think her name was Haley?) didnt even look at me and it was obvious she was trying to go as fast as she could so she could get back to talking to her friend. If the manager is reading this, you need to have a talk with your employees and run your business a little better. Everyone, even the employees at the ACE in Woodville, know you’re all sticks in the mud. I think you should get it together if you want to run a business.
Walked in to return something I purchased at a Tallahassee Ace store and employees were standing around while a customer was complaining about lack of help in getting a propane tank filled - very awkward. Then the cashier and a supervisor wouldn't accept the return of the $9.00 item because they don't carry the item. Go 30 miles back to Tallahassee for $9 bucks? So much for the helpful hardware man! This experience was a great incentive to shop the True Value.
Go there only as a last resort. Salespeople are ignorant and they charge twice what anybody else does for identical items.
Pricey, but a fun little place.
A little pricey, but a fun place to look about.
Great for paint, plants, and hardware. They also sell chickens!
The store could have more helping hands.
I called in on a recommendation, the guy who answered wasn't really helpful, or not experienced. Kept telling me that the standard piece I need "looks like" (on the screen) an allen bit. The reason I called was because I was looking for a driver to grip a stripped head Obviously not something that has a hole in it for an allen wrench of any type. And when I asked him again what part I would need to accomplish my task, he says again. Looks like an allen bit. No sir, it's not. "Know How" ? to read a screen? That's about it.
