Honest, lower prices, convenient to foothills.
DON'T WORK WITH THESE GUYS! My husband was stranded outside of Yuma and this shop sent their tow truck. He was 1.25 hours later than the initial 55 minute wait. The driver, Scott, never even contacted my husband. Once Scott got there, he said he was going to leave my husband stranded because he didn't want to chain our van how my husband wanted him to. Once they were on the road, Scott was approaching a low bridge and they reminded him how tall our van is. Scott then slammed on the brakes but couldn't slow in time. The van missed the bridge by 2 inches. This guy was HORRIBLE and I have read other bad Yelp reviews of their shop. DON'T WORK WITH THIS SHOP!
Located on the South I-8 frontage road between the Trading Post and Chicken on the run. Took good care of me, offered a ride home and followed up the next day. Spendy shop rates $$$.
My Nissan Altima was making a strange noise and needed new brake pads and they did a great job fixing it! Plus, they'll shuttle you home when you drop off your car and will pick you up too. It was affordable and the manager explained everything to me every step of the way. I sometimes feel like mechanics can take advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars, but I found this shop to be very trustworthy and helpful. I will be going here in the future and would definitely recommend it to my friends.
Brought my father here after he had an accident. The manager handled almost every single interaction between the shop and myself, my father, or the insurance company. Unfortunately for us, the manager was a total jack wagon. He was rude and dismissive to us every time we referred him to the insurance company; he just wanted us to give him money. To be fair, our insurance company wasn't on their game either. Overall, the manager left us with a bad experience.
One of the owners, Russell, called after he heard about the experience we had and offered his apologies. He asked what he could do to fix it, but unfortunately you just can't fix a poor experience.
Fantastic, those intermittent problems are so hard to find. Accurate, good name.
I am in the business and have high standards. Unfortunately it was not even close. $3000.00 valve job on 5.7 gm engine in a pickup was agreed. The spark plug wires they damaged was not. They replaced a couple after recommending that I replace the set. We disagreed. After job done they could not get it running right. Tried different spark plugs even. 90 miles into the desert it became obvious the wires were damaged internally when removed. They refused to accept responsibility. After numerous phone calls they agreed to buy parts(at mfgr suggested retail) and I provide the labor in the Walmart parking lot in La Quinta!!!!!
Thanks guys for letting $60 get in the way of sending a $3000.00 job out RIGHT!!!
PS They did not even follow up after the holiday to see how things went for us.
CHECK PART PRICES FIRST! I had the drivers side power window fail. Have used these guys for a long time, so I did not hesitate to go to them. Bill came to over $500.00 with the part costing me $297.00I used their invoice the next day to look up the part on-line and found dozens of places charging $99.99 - $129.99 for it. Three weeks later I had the same problem with the passenger side window. I went to the dealer this time. Same exact part was used and ran $119.99 with the total bill being $237.00and NO, AAA did not special order the part from the Ukraine and swam over on the backs of dolphins before a german shepard took over the delivery. So, do YOURSELF a favorin addition to an estimate, ask for the make and model number of the parts they intend to use and then look up the prices before giving them the go-ahead to start work. They are all very nice therebut charging 250% for the parts they usethey can keep their "nice" and I will keep my money and go somewhere else from now on.
