Came to watch justice league on my day off, received Great service from staff. Management and was very helpful!!! Recommend to watch a movie here
This is the best theater in town. Now with that said there's only two options. Both are owned by the same company but this one is a bit newer. Still pricey and no frills.
Movies are good and fair priced. But the snacks and popcorn and pop aren't. I could only afford the movie itself.
There is no competition in Bloomington so tickets are pricey. Exiting the parking lot can be a nightmare!
Not sure why AMC cannot escort idiots who just have to use their phone during a movie out the door the funny trailers asking for people not to use their phones during the movie are not working.
Usually lots of show times, nice large screens, stadium seating with cup holders on the arm rests. Fairly clean. Discounts on tickets for stubs members on Tuesday! Never had a bad experience here.
Clean movie theater. Comfortable seats. Polite staff
Pretty standard for a movie theater. Exactly what you'd expect. The cup holders are on the arm rest (for those like me that care about that fact)
The theatre has new food, including pizza and gourmet popcorn. Haven't tried it but the pictures look yummy. They have gotten better if you are a premiere member in correctly calling from that line. They seem to have taken away all the morning movies on week days. So don't expect a 11am showtime here. It's sad they did this as the early morning shows were always the ones I could make it to.
It's pretty clean. I was spoiled by my last theater, whom had reclining seats, so now I wish every theater had them. The seats weren't bad. We went to see annabelle, and the screen was adequate for the viewing. The surround sound needs some tunning. Overall customer service was ok, employees don't seem happy to work there (they are kids) but need to learn how to be more welcoming. It was a Friday night.
The movie Megan Leavey is a must see for anyone that appreciates great American heroes. It is great and the protagonists are fantastic--both Megan and her canine Rex and the others portrayed. Really good story that brings tears.
Love this theatre ! ❤️💜💕😂😘🏆👍🏅😛🤘🏽😍🤘👋🤑🤓😝👏🙌😌😙😗✌️😚😎😜🤗😱🙋😊😏
I've been an AMC Stubs member and now I'm embarrassed to be one because of all of the cutting in line and such.
I don't mind saving some money and getting rewards here and there, but treating me like I am somehow preferred over other customers is not the experience I look for.
[Edit] The policy has not changed! There is still a preferred line for customers that can afford it.
Why promote buying your way out of good manners and etiquette? The preferred lines stand as a testament to a corporate misunderstanding of what it is to be poor.
Just because I can afford the rewards system does not mean that I want to cut in front of the rest.
It makes me want to revoke my rewards membership rather than be participate in a system that has fast lanes for those with means and slow lanes for those without.
This marketing strategy is a blight, based on archaic advertising motifs that ignore a customer's desire to feel real emotions like empathy and compassion in the movie theatre.
I don't suddenly wish to start participating in these feelings once I'm in my seat. I want it to begin as I'm going to my movie, and I don't want the spell to be broken by some callous idea that some Mr. Jones came up with in order to look good in a meeting.
I don't want to see people oppressed at anytime; however, I pretty much expect it from a place that does not peddle emotions. But to be a business that DOES deal in affecting the emotional experience of a customer, and to then present yourself as a business that is unfeeling right when I walk in the door, is not only a missed opportunity.
It creates a lack of distrust in your own self awareness.
Do you know what you are selling?
This is a comment about the marketing decisions of AMC. The theatre staff is top notch at AMC 12 as well as AMC 11. I hope they are treated with more consideration than your customers.
Good screen. Enjoyed 3D. We came from Terre Haute to see a movie that wasn't coming to our AMC. It was very easy to find, good standard theatre seating. Bathrooms and rest of building clean. Friendly staff. Will definitely come again.
This is the better movie theater in Bloomington. The AMC 12 has larger theaters, a cleaner and bigger lobby, and more bathrooms as well. There is always ample parking. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. If you're deciding between the 11 and the 12, definitely come to this theater.
Holy moly is this theater awful. I was visting from out of town and decided to kill an evening here. The screen was in poor shape, the seats were uncomfortable, and everything seemed dilapidated. This is the "good" theater in town. I feel for the people of Bloomington. Desperately in need of some competition that does things right. This was a deciding factor in not moving to Bloomington. For real
