The theater was nice but everything leading up to it is ridiculous.

It's way to small to handle the volume of people. Line to buy tickets, line to get in, line to buy food/drink, line to fill drinks. Everyone is on top of each other.

Also, it says alot about a place when you have 3 cop cars outside the entrance and security in and around the theater. I could understand having them around for safety, if they were still present during and after the last movie got out.

Great theatre with a full bar and good ticket prices. One thing that is a little confusing is trying to find it on Google maps. It takes you to the back of the building. Also the theatres are split up which adds to the confusion. Other than that it's a nice little theatre inside a mall.

Cashier asked if I wanted to renew my Stubs reward card I paid$15.00 to renew it.
Then card didn't renew. Manager refused to refund money and said I needed to call Stubs. Stubs customer service stated the card was not eligible for renewal due to the reward program it was on was no longer being used.
And they can not refund any money as I should have not been asked to renew in the first place
Fraud, will never come here again

We went to see a 10:15am showing of daddy’s home on Sunday. The manager says it does not start till 11:30 am even though it says 10:15am on there website and a lot of times the website is never updated! She says the main amc website is accurate and we should be checking that instead. How about doing your job and updating your website!!

The remodel can't make up for terrible customer service. I am an AMC premiere stubs member. I have spent nearly a thousand dollars at AMC in the course of six months. Frankly, I won't be giving this theater a cent more. Like another Yelp reviewer, this theater's Minnie-Mouse wanna-be, who will not provide a name nor wear a name badge and wears a costume rather than a uniform, treated multiple customers like a bad SNL skit -- an exemplar of poor customer service. The theater refused food or drinks from outside which normally wouldn't be such a big deal if she hadn't lied to me that there was the same sort of coffee available at the concession stand, or if they had a posted notice. I've brought food into the theater before with no issue. Additionally, despite having already purchased my tickets, ID was again demanded of me by "Minnie". Not only am I nearly 30, but there is no way I look under 25 (AMC's supposed policy -- exactly how do they determine how one looks under 25?) with the amount of burns and scars on my face, likewise with the two others in my group. I later saw her seeming to refuse entrance to a large group for god-knows-what and calling security on them. Frankly, I don't recall Minnie Mouse being a stormtrooper in the classical sense of the word.

I'll be cancelling my stubs membership given AMC's lack of response and going to Epic instead.

I've been going to this AMC Theater at Lake Square Mall for 15 yrs. What they did to the older east side is fantastic. On 3/10/17. I moved out the area about 2 years ago. I went to see KONG Skull Island; at this theater and was blown away at the changes. Lazy_boy style seats, awesome sound. (I am hard of hearing) but I understood all the dialogue not from volume but by nice clear speakers. Great seats, excellent sound and visuals are great. Plus the new concession stands are to my liking. I can mix up my beverages and love the fresh popcorn and Garlic Parmesan pretzels r really good..
Lot of people complain about concession prices but; I used to work for a theater and can say that "what the theater counts on is concession stand profits". They do NOT any money from ticket sales. That is collected for the making of the film all theaters eg; Regal, Epic, AMC, Cinemark etc. etc. Profits from concession That is how they pay ushers, lights, basic operation of the theater

Love the upgrades in the theater, but I hate the remodeled concession stand. It was great when the attendants would prepare drinks and snacks in a little tray, but now drinks are filled at a self serve machine on the opposite side. This wouldn't be a problem if the line to the machine didn't form directly in the path of people entering and leaving the theater, and to top it off there is little to no shelving to place anything while filling a soda. I felt like some carnival juggler gathering all my stuff shlupping it from the concession stand to the soda machine and then to the theater. All this fun and I still have to pay over $20.00 for a large drink and popcorn.

The recliners are a cool feature, much more comfortable that typical theater seating. The theater was a little too hot for my taste. I noticed there were ceiling fans, but they weren't on.

The cost of food and drink is ridiculous. I understand that there is a mark-up on food & drink at a movie theater, but a 4000% mark-up is robbery. I would have been fine paying $7-10 for popcorn and a drink, but I wasn't pleased spending $60 for two tickets, a bowl of popcorn and a drink.

This movie cinema is really nice! They just did a remodel and this cinema has red leather reclining seats, a bar, and great concessions. I've seen about three movies here and it's always been good!

We can't believe what a transformation the AMC theater has undergone at Lake Square Mall. We went to the theater a few times years ago but really couldn't stand how tacky it was and stopped going. "Word of mouth" told us about the renovations so we decided to give it a try. WOW! What a wonderful update . Beautiful, comfortable, reclining leather chairs. All new carpeting in hallways and clean theaters. Plus, they've added a new bar with premium alcohol. This will definitely be our "go to" theater and you can't beat the prices ( almost half the cost of The Villages).

Wow! So much improvement it is staggering. I went from seeing a movie or two a year at this theater to a movie or two a month. Everything you could want in a good, clean new movie Theater, including great picture and great sound!! So glad I don't have to drive 35 miles to a different theater anymore. OH - and the prices are not higher than before the remodel so that helps (family of five, so it is still not cheap for a movie night).

Frustrating at times. I'm well past the Rated R age of 17 but am always carded, sometimes multiple times by different employees, and even demanded that I return to my car for my license. I was late for our movie. Secondly, NO ONE follows the seating arrangement and there's never a staff member there to help with compliance. They might as well abolish assigned seating and go back to good ol first come, first serve seating. The upgraded chairs are nice, ticket prices are great but concessions prices are too high.
