Wonderfully accommodating employees and a great selection. Definitely will be back to this great establishment. So difficult to find places where you immediately feel comfortable and are treated as a valued customer these days. Do not hesitate to shop here.

I was very impressed with their displays and knowledge of every stone I asked about. They even took time to tell me about the Clocks on the wall. Nice staff, and over all a very great experience.

As an independent appraiser for many years the reviewer Deidre Padrona needs to understand some facts about jewelry appraisals
Appraisals are legal documents of experts opinions which the appraiser can be held liable for legally.
They are based on Gemological training, valuation methodology, require equipment and market research Appraisals are not quick guesses
They require time, they require cleaning and often for accurate weight and valuation the diamond may need to be removed.
It sounds like you were offered a professional service but simply wanted free information without remuneration for this service and when the information you wanted wasn't free or revealed what you wanted it to be you left the 2 star review.
From a professional standpoint you wanted an professional service for no pay and then reviewed the company with a less then factual review because they would not provide a slipshod valuation.
Not providing slipshod off the cuff valuation was the ethical, reasonable and prudent course of action in this case..
No professional should be required to provide for free information that takes training, equipment, time and has legal liability. No CPA does this, no Physician, no attorney offers these kinds of services and your local Jewelry appraiser should not be asked to do so either.response / report this review -

There are not enough stars available to describe the quality of service Bob, Vickie, Brian, Eric, Lorraine and Jonathan provide - they treat customers like family! Having a shop down the street from them is an honor as they treat my business like it is their own with referrals! If you have not stopped in here, you owe it to yourself as the shop is beautiful and the people are wonderful!

Bob's coins is far and away the best coin,jewelry and collectable store that I have ever dealt with. To say they give personal customer care is an understatement. They have an upscale top notch store with extremely fair prices. They best prices for precious metals and coins around. They also give you the closest to market value of anyone around on any coins, precious metals, jewelry, etc. that you bring them. This makes it literally the best of both worlds. I have personal ran into at least 5 people in the coin collecting world in the last 6 months alone that brought up Bobs as the best place around without me even mentioning it. Check this place out. You will not be disappointed.
