With reserved, power-reclining seats, this is a great choice for those who still venture out to the theatre to see movies. There's a "bar" in the lobby, which makes it possible to get beer or cocktails to drink at your seats, a nice option. Overall, I recommended this theater.
Best theater in town in my opinion. Ask about a stubz membership, definitely worth the cost. It pays for itself after just a few visits. Cash back on all purchases. Any food or drink you get you pay for the size below it. Ex. Buy a large popcorn, you get charged for a medium.
Lastly ticket prices are about 2$ less than showplace.
Their self checkout is jacked up. Especially since they haven't any wifi at the gate I can't use Atom to buy my tickets. The seats are nice but what good are they if I have trouble BUYING a ticket?
Lovely place, never had an issue with food, spirits, or alcohol. Service has always been prompt. Love the fact that seats are recliners and one level is well above head height of lower levels. Well with the $15.00 a year for premium services.
This facility is very clean and nice. There are multiple movies showing simultaneously. They have an adult bar for serving alcoholic beverages (NEW). Staff are outstanding. Their restrooms are really clean considering how busy they are.
Super comfortable, automatic reclining seats. Liked the self service ticket kiosks. Coke Freestyle machine is a nice touch. Only drawback was poor sound insulation between auditoriums—we were watching a quiet drama, and could hear a little bit of noise from the action movie next door.
Their recliner seats are to die for! Kind of upset that prices went up though. Still a great place and I will be going back!
The staff is always friendly with an upbeat attitude. I like how they have redone the decor. The chairs are very comfortable recliners and they have reasonable prices.
One of my favorite theaters. All of the seats in every theater are recliners. The picture and sound is great. They also offer special events regularly. The only complaint I have is that their concessions are overpriced compared to every other cinema. But I just don't buy enough for that to hurt the rating.
Loved the reserved seating. The seats were so comfortable. Price was good for the tickets, but I wouldn't buy concessions again. I don't get why they don't offer free refills on popcorn when it's so cheap and they charge so much money for it. I think we spent $18 on movie tickets and $25 on two drinks and popcorn. It was a nice outing for the wife and I, but I'd rather have a nice dinner at one of the nearby restaurants then take in a movie.
Freshly renovated with reserved recliner seating in each theater. Nice bar area and the food options are nice too. They even have those fancy coke machines that allow you to make all sorts of different combinations.
Showplace North recliners are much more comfortable, they have adjustable head rest controls. They're so cool! Free popcorn as well!
I'm completely spoiled by the reclining seats and the fact that you can reserve your exact seat. Super convenient when you're running behind or just want to get there right before the movie starts. No need to stress.
Loved reserving seats over a week in advance for an informal birthday movie. Cashiers were extremely patient while I let kids pick candy and I ordered popcorn and sodas. Other patrons were very nice as well while I tried to keep up with 5 kids while getting the drinks. Back row is awesome for a group of kids! At 11 am movie on a saturday, the facilities were clean and the place was relatively not crowded. It was a great time and experience!
Seriously!! Recliners! I was so impressed when I walked in and saw recliners in the theatre. I have never had a more comfortable movie experience. The incredible, comfy recliners actually recline and have cup holders. The screen was huge and the picture was really clear. This is definitely our favorite theatre in Evansville.
