Very interesting theater that features a wide variety of great documentary films. Seats could be a little more comfortable. Other than that loved it.

This theater is a dream come true! So happy a theater like this has finally come around!

Great local beers served here on tap. Even in the midst of a busy time, the staff is still friendly and professional.

Ever since the Dobey mall Cinema closed due to development like many things in the city have, I've been waiting for another Cinema that could fill the void. It is much needed to have a space that focuses more on the art of Cinema rather than the money-bringing Cinema. Plus, you can become a member and have many resources available like film making classes at a discount and movie making equipment rentals.

Tonight was a night of firsts. Opening night of my brother in laws movie, The secret life of Lance Letscher , and opening night of AFC cinema. Movie was amazing as was theatre. Both a must see.

Prior to the Austin Asian American Film Festival, I had only been here for the Blue Genie Bazaar. This place is surprisingly nice and flexible for events. The theater is large and clean. There's a small side room that could be used for cocktails/networking. The bar area is also comfy with the wrap around wood seating. They even offer good local bottled and canned beers. It's now on my list of great Austin event venues.

I attended an Austin Film Society event here, and it is a great venue to watch 35mm prints. The lobby is a great spot to socialize and they even have a full bar. I look forward to many more film screenings here in the future.
