The front desk staff is always available and extremely kind. The campsites are all very nice with fire rings and clean bathrooms nearby. They have a very quiet and secluded feel. The restaurant on site was also super convenient and the food was great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, only 20 minutes from the bridge!

We went white water rafting as a group. We also camped for several nights. The guides on the water were great. Facilities were good. There are also many other great activities.

My husband and I came for a 1/2 day Zipline tour and an overnight stay. The Zipline was awesome. Grant and Adam were our guides. They were awesome! We had a great group of folks with us ranging from mid 20 - 60yrs old. We stayed in a single tent (provided by them) which appeared to be newer and nicer than some others we have seen around us. They have raised platforms with a 1-2 in vinyl pads, inside the tent. The tent is also raised off the ground and covered. Nice set up. Only real negatives we're the shower/bathrooms and some questionable customer service from a few at check in.

My family and I went to to "Nightmare on the Gorge" at Ace this weekend and had a fantastic time. Even the walk up was creepy. But I have to say the customer service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly to begin with, but as I was walking out I looked at my phone and happened to see the notification from my bank of my ticket purchase and I had been over charged. I went to the welcome center, the lady at the ticket counter had realized her mistake soon after we walked toward the haunted houses and she couldn't find us to fix it, but they were ready to make it right as soon as we got there. Loved the event, but the service was even better.

Lower new River all day raft trip was fun even with low water. Our guide/EMT, Joe, was amazing and handled an injury perfectly. My daughter stayed on the tripand had a good time. View, restaurant, water park and camping was the best!
Only suggestion would be to have credit cards checked in, so you don't need to carry money everywhere. Just sign and add to my bill is more efficient and quite frankly easier to spend my money.

Just stayed the weekend on a Bachelor party. And what can I say it was a success!!! The all day rafting trip was AWESOME!! Our guide was Lauren, She was legit an absolute pleasure to be on the river with ! She has a true passion for what she does and it shows So thank you Lauren you're the best !
The water park is fun for all ages Child or adult.. The resort bar and live music just added to the already great time we were having Keep up the good work ACE I will be back ..

Great place to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Chalet was Beautiful. Staff was excellent. Plenty of things to do for the whole family. We did a trip down the Upper New River and had a great time. Ace really takes care of you, plenty of well trained guides on our river trip.

The river trip (upper new) was awesome. The guide was absolutely fantastic. We had a blast The cabins were nice inside although the water heater in one of the cabins didn't work. Food at the on-site restaurant was terrible.

Loved it, I want to go back for more when I can actually do more of the activities. They have so much there to do and all the workers were great and friendly. Cabin was just right and allowed our husky to come with us.

A group of us stayed here for 3 days last weekend for our first time for the zip lining and white water rafting package (lower new river) Our zip line guides Marianna, Kaitlyn and Mango were great as well as our white water rafting guides, Leaf, Trevor, Bobby and our Bus driver Ricky was hilarious! I was scared to death to even do this but our guide Bobby made me feel as ease, so big thank you to him. We stayed in the Cedar cabin's which were Beautiful and cozy! The food was good, staff super friendly, water park was a blast, Zip lining views were gorgeous and the White water rafting trip was so much fun. With a super yummy lunch served for lunch on the river. What can I say. We enjoyed the trip so much we want to plan another to come back next year for longer. There was so much more that we were unable to see and do.

My feelings for this place a wholly one of a kind. Me and my friends went white water rafting In June 2016. If you're a local you know that's when the floods hit the place really bad. The river was up 9 feet and the famous Whale rock was actually moved. Whole trees were washing down the river with us racing to the finish. Any sane guide would of taken us out but not mine. Craig was a man all his own He took us to places no one in their right mind would of gone and I loved it. I wish I could give them 100 stars. A little pricey but you get what you pay for and much much more. This place is amazing!!!

It was pouring rain almost the entire time we were there and it was still an incredible experience. Went white water rafting when the water was up almost 11' and when I first looked at it I thought there was no way we making it through this $h¡+! With the experience of two awesome guides (Scotty O, & Chris Collins) I had the time of my life and can't wait to get back on the water. Also I can't forget to mention how cool all of the staff is there at Ace! I will definitely be going back soon.
