They hosted a wedding reception and did a magnificent job. Excellent facility, beautiful grounds, awesome food service, and affordable rates made this a winning choice for us!

This is an amazing course regardless of your skill level. And the pro shop is for real ! And after a round, take a walk into the grill for some good food and a beverage !

Jason was very helpful and responsive during the planning process for my recent wedding. Yankee Trace was very accommodating and flexible with our requests. We were receiving our cupcakes from an out of town vendor a few days before our wedding and they allowed us to store them at the venue until the big day. They were also great with the room flip. I had never been to a wedding at YT, and at first I was hesitant to want to do a room flip, but the seamlessness of their set up was perfect. Our guests were able to enjoy a cocktail and the room was set up within 15 minutes of the ceremony ending. The fact they also have a room to use for the girls to get ready, that can then be used during the reception as a "babysitting room" was also a HUGE benefit. Everything about this place made it the perfect venue.

I think this is one of the best courses and one of the best deals around. That's a rare combination. The course is lush and has been in great shape everytime Ive played it. I try to play there once a week or so. The greens aren't as fast as Beavercreek but they roll true to appearance. Yankee Trace also has an outstanding practice facility.

I played Legend/Vintage yesterday with some buddies (we played the blues). It was my first time playing at Yankee. All-in-all, I was very impressed, and this is probably my new favorite course in Dayton. The course was in fantastic condition despite it being October. The course plays pretty true also. There aren't too many surprises if you've never played there before. The course has a lot of variety: some challenging par 4's that will give you a mid/long iron approach, some short par 4's that make you play position with less than driver off the tee, reasonable par 3's, and the par 5's are high risk high reward (the greens are well guarded, but a good drive and an aggressive second can get you there in 2). I took off one star because the practice area is very underwhelming. Heatherwoode's practice area makes Yankee's look bushleague. It was kind of surprising. Overall, very pleased with the experience.
Side note - I've never seen so many people walking, which is kind of refreshing. However, you could get stuck behind them. We didn't have any issues with it on this particular day, but I could see it being a problem from time to time.

Great facility. Large pro shop, lots of merchandise. The golf course is set up consistently, wide fairways, little slope on the greens, excellent for the 95% of golfers out there.

Nice course, friendly service, the parking g gets tight depending on what is going on but the club house is easily accessible to all.

Yankee Trace has the best Sunday brunch in the Dayton area, not only the great offering from Shrimp, Salmon, Prme Rib, Chicken and a delicious salad and dessert bar, but the service is second to none. A buffet that is maintained to allow all guests enjoy the same amount and quality of food from the time it opens to the time it closes. Yankee Trace is a must on Sunday's for Brunch!

Great golf course that is well maintained and beautiful. Each hole has it own characteristic and the greens are quick and true. Enjoy!

Possibly the best course in the Dayton, Ohio region. They also have a very reasonable rate for 18 after 2 pm.

Easter Sunday brunch was not brunch. No breakfast items. The price was doubled for the same food they serve at golf leagues. Served orange juice with ham and green beans. Switch and bait for a terrible lunch. Not recommended

Hands down the best City owned/maintained course in the greater Dayton area.

Had our employee celebration here. It's gorgeous inside. Was still decorated with Christmas in the middle of January. It was breathe taking. Food was amazing along with the table service. Refreshing!

I haven't been golfing since my back surgery 2 years ago. Finally worked up the courage to give it a try here. Can't say I was that impressed. This was my first time at this course and I want given any direction on which course I was suppose to play on. After picking the wrong choice three times and getting yelled at by the staff, we finally found a staff member who was polite and helpful. If it wasn't for him I would give this place a 1 star review. Next time I'll go somewhere else.
