One of the, if not the greatest facilities in America dedicated to groomed cross country skiing. Been going here for the past 5 years, a long drive from Chicago but worth the effort.

One of the best in the Midwest for xc skiing! We have been going several times each winter for almost 15 years and the grooming is always as good as can be. Dependable snow, nice chalet, warm fires, great snowshoeing, and friendly staff too!

Best x-country ski trails around. Mixed classic and skate, as well as classic exclusive. 75 kilometers of trail groomed and open as of today. How great. Also has a large warming house with toilet, coffee and wood stove. Can buy gear, wax and brushes, rent equipment, etc. Also has cabins for rent, saunas and plenty of other goodies. A real gem of the northwoods country.

An amazing ski location. Perfect grooming on over 60K worth of trails. The main building has a ski shop and a very nice warming area with table and benches. There is also a waxing area in the pole building for customers. A perfect place to nordic ski your heart out.

We have been skiing with a group of families at ABR for about 5 years now. We rent most of their rustic cabins for the whole weekend and have an absolute blast with skiing, snow shoeing and sledding with family and friends. We always find Eric and Angela to be the most gracious hosts who always make sure we have what we need. If you want an outdoor X-country ski adventure this place is it. Trails for all levels and a wood-fired sauna!! Awesome!
