Me and my family got stuck in the mountains in a bridge and AAA rescued us. I would consider AAA 100% to be there when you need them.

My granddaughter and I are planning a trip to Orlando from Glendale, AZ. I requested a day to day trip planner and the young woman was able to plan out each day's travel plus gave me booklets to find hotels, restaurants, etc. along the way. In my opinion, that in itself was worth the annual dues. Very helpful and courteous.

I NEEDED MY AUTO REPAIRED. I HAD MY CAR SAFETY INSPECTED AT AAA A FEW DAYS BEFORE AND THE MECHANIC FOUND THE DRIVERS SIDE CV JOINT BOOT TORN AND POSSIBLE JOINT DAMAGE. I WAS NOT PREPARED TO HAVE THE WORK DONE AT THAT TIME. LATER, I TOOK MY CAR TO THE AUTO DEALER AND WAS TOLD THEY DID NOT HAVE TIME TO LOOK AT MY CAR THAT DAY AND I SHOULD MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT WEEK. I CALLED RAY AT THE AAA SHOP FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE DRIVERS SIDE AXLE,BOOTS & JOINTS ASSEMBLY REPLACED AND WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT MORNING, WHICH WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE. I TOOK MY CAR IN AT THE APPOINTMENT TIME AND IT WAS IN THE SHOP WITHIN MINUTES. I HAD COME EXPECTING TO WAIT A HALF DAY OR MORE FOR THE REPAIRS TO BE DONE. RAY CAME TO ME AFTER ABOUT TWO HOURS AND TOLD ME THE REPAIRS HAD BEEN MADE AND MY CAR WAS READY TO GO. I HAVE WAITED LONGER FOR AN OIL CHANGE AT OTHER SHOPS. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM EVERYONE I CAME IN CONTACT WITH WHILE AT THE AAA PEORIA OFFICE. THANK YOU

Kate was very helpful in booking our trip to Europe. She covered every area: transportation, currency, hotel, food, clothing, excursions, etc. She researched questions that we had, contacted the tour representative, gave options on excursions, and much more. She spent time setting up a river cruise, and then we cancelled it, she was very patient to set us up with a bus tour. She was friendly, asked questions to make sure that we had the things that we wanted in our travel plans. She was very knowledgable about the choices. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a vacation.

The shop I previously used went out of business. Unfortunately, when I went to change the oil myself, I was unable to remove the filler plug. I had difficulty getting the wrench on it and my first attempt to unscrew the plug resulted in stripping the head. I messed it up further by trying a large vise grip that didn't work either.

So, since AAA is just up the road from me, I thought I'd give them a try. I made the appointment and explained the problem with the bolt head. Ron assured me they could take care of it and they did.

When I took the truck in, I had a coupon for a free set of wiper blades. Ron said he was sorry but they didn't carry the type I needed. I wasn't too happy about that, but I was going to get the oil changed without the coupon to begin with, so it was no big deal.

Anyway, when I picked up the truck less than 45 minutes later, Ron told me the threads on the plug hole had been damaged a bit. He said the new bolt straightened them out much like a tap and die set would have and everything should be okay. Since I've had previous experience with such problems, I understood what he was telling me. The point is he didn't try to sell me further repairs or a new oil pan, both of which he could have. He also didn't charge extra.

Anyway, as I was getting in the truck, he called out that he had been able to replace the wipers after all. He said the computer listed the wrong type for my Dakota, but he could have read it wrong the first time. Still, he didn't just let it go, so I'm pretty happy with the service I received.

I don't know how long Ron has been there, but he was very courteous with me, so I can't comment on the negative reviews. He did mention that the mechanic indicated a bearing on the driveshaft seemed a little worn, but didn't try to sell me repairs and just said it's something we need to watch.
