Whenever I’ve used this garage, it’s always a good experience. They have excellent rates, great staff, and are in a convenient location close to STCL and the convention center/Discovery Green. The garage manager is very professional and helpful when I’ve had any questions about setting up long term parking during the summer and semesters. They have live help 24hrs a day which is very convenient. They also have security on the premises and I’ve always felt safe parking there and definitely recommend them!

I have parked at 1112 Clay Street Garage since last year initially because of it's great location and cost. However, it turns out that the staff that I have been involved with have the best customer service skills I have come across in a while. Thank you all so much. Unfortunately, I can no longer park there, but if I am in the area, I will not hesitate to grab a spot.

Have only been parking here a couple weeks but I recommend getting a monthly contract for those who are unhappy about surprise fees (that you will find in most garages/lots downtown if paying hourly). So far no issues. The office staff has been extremely kind and helpful, and is one of the more affordable monthly contract garages central to my office building, and likely many others downtown. I can always find parking, the area I park is never full, there are always other business professionals coming or going or parents with kids from the daycare downstairs, which gives me a safer feeling. Process of setting up my contract was extremely quick and easy and I easily set my payments up online afterwards. Again, no issues or concerns so far, and I am extremely happy with the garage! There is also almost always a police office and/or some form of security at the garage on the ground near the day care which makes me feel at ease in the morning and evening when I am walking to and from the garage. 5 stars so far!!

I will let the "star rating" speak for itself. Instead of wasting your time telling you that the ground is flat to park on, at least let me offer a few tips if parking here. Although the lot is relatively safe and honest, remember to:

Take the time to read the parking pay signs very carefully. Really! Look for extra "taxes" during "certain" hours.

Beware of the "Event Rate in Effect" and what time. It may spill over into the time while you are away. For instance, if there is a major event happening near the area.

Take a short 360 video of your car before you leave. Well worth it. It helped me!!!! You can not fake the embedded meta video data and it will hold up in court/with insurance if your car is damaged. Two minutes can save you $$$ and tons of time. Plus, it will help you find your car if you do not have the proper "find my car" app installed.

Avoid flag wavers off the lot property, usually one block away. They most likely do not work as attendants and are scamming for cash. Usually happens during large events.

Tip the Valet/Parking attendant to avoid bumper damage!!!! It is worth it.

Keep your receipt for a week or two. You may not notice damage right away.

MOST IMPORTANT: If the attendant is present, be nice as always. If they have a name tag, notice it, and use their name when speaking. Not only is this a sign of respect and acknowledgement, it also will help if you have to report/escalate an issue.

I work close by and park in this garage all the time, never heard of any issues and the attendant working the late shift who gets off around 10pm is always really friendly. I've seen security patrolling numerous times as I walk out to my vehicle in the late evening. Admittedly, they do not have cameras, however, if you don't leave valuable things in your vehicle, you should be safe.
