Amazing ancient cave city! The territory of the valley is quite large, you 'll spend here around 1.5-2 hours.

Amazing place . Once in a lifetime of experience, beautiful gods creation.
As per my knowledge it's formed of volcanic eruptions. Beautiful structure. Mind blowing, unforgettable place.
A must to visit in Cappadocia.
It's close from Avanos town and can travel by local dolmas bus.response / report this review -

Amazing ! This museum offers much and more if you have time! This is a village lived up until 1952 and after an earthquake. Some faded frescoes of few churches, cave dwellings, stores and dark tunnels in many levels can be seen. Living. This village is less crowded than the one in Göreme. A guide recommended this us.Three beautiful valleys, you can have a space, enjoy of exploring in piece, trekking around in the nature, a breathtaking landscape and rock formation around. If you want visit every cave it takes 2-4 hours. It's a big area, fore times bigger than Göreme's. We visited only a part of all, 1,5h. Hot hot..
Registered to the world heritage list! Before entering I should have wanted to see a map over the site for looking what will be coming up. No map, no information! What a bad service.. Cafes and shops outside the site. Entrance 10 TL.response / report this review -

Good parking, beautiful scenery to walk inside the valley and along the caves. Some are closed as time has made them unsafe, but loads are still in great condition and you can feel a little bit like an explorer just walking through them with no guideline on where to step and to go. Preferred this one a lot over the overrun Göreme National Park Open Air Museum. Additional recommendation is to get the Museum pass for 45TRY which is valid for 3 days and basically gets you into everything in Cappadocia

Here is the "must see" place. Incredible view and structures. If you travel by car, you should spend many hours in Zelve Valley.

This town was residents since 9th century, all the way until 1952. It's very interesting to learn and see culture changes through time, and it's a good hike!

Amazing landscape. Feels so surreal, like walking around in a Dr. Suess book! Be sure to look for the funky police office in a cave by the side of the road.
