The place is very famous and nice, I've been there once but it was so crowded. The food was very good, and service was not bad, I don't know about the prices because I didn't pay that time :D

A great reataurant in the hearth of Istanbul. Food is fresh, with light greek and turkish music. Not pricy at all. It is highly recommended if you want to experience a Turkish Raki night. Seabus Marine and shrimp casserole is a must try

Very friendly service, finger-licking delicious mezes: Mezgit Meze is a must. A place where anyone in the area should have rakı & meze.

Great little side street (Asmali Mescit) with several meyhane restaurants/cafes perfect for a little break from all the sights, or to chill for the evening too.

Upon arriving in Istanbul my friend Sinan treated me to a traditional Mediterranean Turkish dinner and I was amazed at the food. I had fresh bread with feta, calamari, fried fish, fried eggplant, and octopus; all washed down with a bottle of Raki. When we sat down it was all Turkish patrons and I knew that this was a good sign. Fantastic restaurant, I recommend it.

It's what I would call Turist trap. To avoid, since around there are plenty of fabulous restaurant. The prices are not cheap, and the food is less than average.
